testosterone pellets

Anyone have any experience or information concerning biodentical testosterone pellets. The ones made from Yams. Talking to a doc who is recomending them but I'm skeptical.

Thanks

I have had pellets. What are your questions?

do they work. i'm not training for a show or powerlifting. Just looking for something to give a little boost in the gym and overall "pep in the step". I'm 49 and feeling it sometimes.

not so much interested in pushing that much more metal but I would like to improve on recovery time and overall "drive".

Thanks.

My question is why would you not just do a regular HRT of testosterone? Would give you all the desired effects you mentioned. Not worth it to try some pellet crap that could be a bunch of bs like half the gels out there IMO

thus my question. the selling point they are making is a constant delivery of test and you don't have to inject weekly. My concern is how well it works or if it is a BS half ased substitute. I like the once every three months but if it is not effective some 250 in lower doses would be preferable.

From what I have seen in friends that are on hrt, the gels and other stuff work, but not nearly as good as injections. Never heard of these pellets, but it sounds like bs. The only pellets Im familiar with is the cattle pellets that are converted to trenbolone and test prop. And weekly injections arent bad, I inject daily and it doesnt bother me. You get used to it.

Wow interestng comments. Most Dr's that are really Dr's want to give you an option other than providing injectables to their patients.
The pellets as the gels are legit. The problem with the gels is everyones absorption rates are different.
How long have been on REAL HRT?
Did you ever take steroids before you found out you had low test levels?
If so how many cycles?

They are exactly as they are proported. They need to be adminstered every month due to the half life; atleast the ones I took. I could only take 2 injections as they are truely injecting pellets the size of BB's into your body and it sucks!
I felt test levels increase and the best was that there was swing in test levels. It keeps you at a very constant level.

The fina pellets have no test prop in them. Not sure who told you that but its incorrect.

I wasn't saying that I am on HRT or have low test levels. Just stating my opinion. But if I was going to do HRT, I would do the typical 250 mg ew of test. I don't see the point in fussing with the gels and pellets.

I agree that the gels and pellets suck. The big drug companies are coming to their senses and see this as a big ticket item for themselves in the near future as they are working hard to develop futher develop the oral test therapy.

of course, its once again all about the money. Reminds me of the supplement companies.

I know that finaplix h is trenbolone acetate, and synovex h is the test prop. I was saying that these are the only pellets that contain aas that I am familiar with. I have not heard of the pellets he was referring to. But from what I have seen in hrt patients that I know, the injectables are the most effective so the pellets are probably crap.

I am currently not on HRT nor have I ever been. I have not taken steroids for around 13 years. Prior to that I cycled off and on for around 13 years (22-38 years of age) and I guess you could call that HST, Hormone Supplement Therapy.. I did 8-12 week cycles and even when stacking stayed realatively moderate amounts with significant time between cycles. Still active in the gym and other sports but pushing 50 I'm starting to see recovery time and general motivation and drive falling off. I never had any type of crash when I quit juicing back in the day so I'm thinking any Low T is more age related. I'm going in for blood tests this week to even see if Low T is an issue but I would put $$ on it that levels are not at the 25 year old level. The Doc I am seeing favors the Gels or Pellets.

Get your blood tests and go to a different doc who prescribes injectable test and hgh. Dont let them peddle you that crap, go get the good shit.

Yeah I couldn't do the pellets or the gel so I found another Dr. Even my GP said he would script me test to inject at home.
So times are changing and so are attitudes.

Got my blood test today. when results come back I'm just going to ask if she will prescribe injectable. I dont know that any one has ever popped the question and she might be good to go with it.

What could you expect to pay if they prescribed HGH. that might not be in the budget but I woould love to give it a whirl!

I'm keeping my eye on these and doing some pretty in depth research on them myself.

It depends how much your insurance is willing to cover. Some of my buddies pay $10 for test, and others pay upwards of $100. I know hgh is expensive, but its worth it. If you can get a script you can always look into getting it from an overseas pharmacy. If customs does stop it, just send them a copy of your script, and they have to let it pass through.

Thanks for the info.

I'll keep anyone concerned IF (and a big if) I end up going with the pellets. I touched base with someone that has the pellet implants. He is around 50, good athlete and rugby player through his lower 40's. he said he has experineced mild yet steady stregnth gains, leaned up considerably and feels very good. Stamina was sagging and he is pleased with the increased recovery and drive. He looked good, not pumped up but fit and dense.

FYI- he said it c ost him $400 for the procedure, insurance generally will not cover the pellets, and he has it done about every 3-4 months. Been on them a year with no side effects and frequent blood work.
