He actually asked for his release and they had no problems letting him go. He had recently been suspended because he failed WWE's wellness test (basically a drug test) and had been warned several times prior to his suspension of "suspect" use. I think if you looked at him and noticed his ring name you could maybe imagine what he could have possibly been suspected of taking.

His departure leaves a void in ECW and Kelly Kelly...
