Don't assume 50mg won't make his heart worse because it can, indirectly (by raising hemoglobin). 100mg of testosterone a week will raise his hemoglobin (making his blood thicker).

I'd say testosterone is not a good idea for him if he's taking thinners for a heart condition. If you do decide to go that route, make sure he's getting labs done to keep an eye on the thickness of his blood. He can even blood let every few months to keep hemoglobin under control (therapeutic phlebotomy or just donate blood).

too difficult and touchy of a situation for anyone to be giving out steroid advice to someone his age with health issues. This guy could live 10 more healthy years possibly or the addition of some test could end his life prematurely too tuff too call w/o a ton of labs minimum.If he is adamant 100mgs/week is plenty, till blood says more or less.

yup gonna ask his doc why they didnt prescribe test injections, and see what the DR says. Then go from there. thx for the help guys

lol he is sexually active with his gf whos like 78 or something. Anyway I can almost bet his test is at 0, because he needs something and hes fricken 87. So what would the best dose be for him?

I was thinking maybe 100mg....then bump it up to 150mg if he doesnt feel anything? He ONLY wants the sexual desire effect, and increased libido. doesnt care about muscle mass or anything. And im sure with a low dose he wont need an ai
