Terrible Pain

I have had what I thought was a rotator cuff problem for the last couple of years. My Dr sent me to an ortho when it first started hurting and he diagnosed it as a slight tear in the rotator cuff. After laying off it for about 5 months I began to work out again. It started to hurt just like it did before I rested it. It was on and off pain for the next year. I went to an A.R.T. Dr and that helped for a little while but now the pain is starting to come back.

What I am starting to become curious about, is if it is my shoulder that is messed up. Im obviously not a Dr and dont know shit about this but lately the pain is mostly in my entire arm rather than my shoulder. I was curious to hear from anybody who has gone through this. An example of how I feel would be to say that my bicep and tricep feels extremely tight as if it needs to be stretched out. My fingers almost feel numb sometimes. I just wanted to know if anybody knew what the fuck was going on with my body

Sounds like it could possibly be tendonitus that keeps getting inflamed when you workout or a pinched nerve like Twitched said.
Don't screw around with it bro. Get it checked out by a Sports Medicine doc, have an MRI done, whatever. Find out what's going on in there soon & get it fixed. Just my .02

I can tell you from a medical opinion that you more than likley have a bad impingement and a possible rotator cuff tear. We operate on people for this all day long, and if you are lucky, you will only have a impingement which can easily be taken care of by having an arthroscopic decompression. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions, but the arm pain is a classic symptom for this.
