Hey guys I've got a wonder drug for tendonitis. It's called Voltaran. It's a cream like ben-gay or flexall, but I pretty sure it's prescription. A friend of mine (who happens to be an Olympic discus thrower) picked some up when he was competing overseas. I've had two knee surgeries on my one of my knees and let me tell you, the day after heavy squats and power cleans is nothing when you've got this stuff around!!! Hopefully you can get your hands on some...

Voltaran is Voltaren overhere

It's not exactly for Tendonitis, but more a painkiller.
But if you feel good with it, all the better.

good 'ol ice works good for me. The problem with tendonitis is that the tissues areinflammed and swollen. You need to get the swelling/inflamation down so that it can heal. That's what my doc told me and I did it and it worked good. I noticed a difference in about 2 days. Do it for about 45 min right before you go to bed.

I have iced it almost everyday for the last three weeks, 20min on 20 off/3-6X a day. It has helped a little bit, but this shit sucks. I am motivated to train hard but am being held back by this injury. Summer is around the corner and I don't want to slack off!

I have a prescription for it.

It is a prescription strength anti-inflamatory. Comes in a pill form also. 25mg, 50mg & 75mg.

Works great for tendonitis. Docs. say it's hard on the stomach though???
