Pin chaser at a bowling alley. $7.50 an hour in an environment where you could easily lose your hearing due to noise. Not to mention lose body parts inside the machines, on top of having dealing with irate nasty trailer-folk.
Literally, the area trailer park was walking distance. The stories I could tell about some of those people. And the sad part was, the ones who drove Mercedes and BMWs were just as bad.
The shifts ran 8-16 hours because the management refused to hire new people. And that's 8-16 hours of staring at a wall. We had 2 TV's, but you can only watch so many movies..
Let me tell you, I lost all motivation to do anything for the few months that I was there. It was soul-draining. It didn't last long, and I'm so glad I escaped.
