My first job: Cashier at a PC cafe. I played computer games all day. $6.75/hour, under the table.
Second job: Teaching a bunch of smelly little kids math at a private tutoring place. Easy job, and I like making fun of the children. $6.25/hour, under the table
Now, Disneyland. I HATE DISNEYLAND. I work at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. I get bitched at constantly by guests who have nothing better to do. Seriously, they could be doing other worthwhile things, like eating, having fun with the family, etc., but noooo, they have to bitch about how substandard the lettuce is, or how they don't want ice in their drinks when I already made their drinks, or how I'm not pampering them every second on their every desire and whim. The guests are so fucking rude, I can't stand it anymore.
There seems to be an unusual number of gay guys working here. When I first applied, the guy at the front desk was gay. Then, the guy who interviewed me was gay. At my job training, the instructors were all women or gay men. The entire management team seems to be all women and gay men. I have no problem with gays normally, but these are the sissy, limp-wristed flamboyantly-flaming gays. My friend who works here says that there is a guy who keeps calling him "girlfriend."
My manager is a bitch too. She bitches at me for not making small talk with the guests, for not putting 3.5 grams of fries with the kid's meals, for keeping ice cream in a cup of ice so guests won't bitch for melted ice cream, and more stuff like that. She needs to get her ass kicked.
All of this for $7.40/hr.
I think that is all of it.
Off to Disneyland again in 9 hours.
