me either. my son accidentally answered the phone thinking it was "someone he knew" (wtf) and when he handed it to me, and i realized it was a telemarketer, i just hung up as the guy was talking. Im much too lazy to go to the trouble of explaining that Im not interested.

i carry on a conversation because i am lonely and i know their job sucks and they need to kill some time. i like people that can't speak hardly any english the best.

I actually haven't gotten a telemarketer call in years.........but when the campaign calls were coming in I shared a few choice selections of profanity and then hung up. Lost no sleep over it. Ahhhhhhhhh..............good time.....good times.

no. i usually say, "i'm sorry, i don't have time to talk right now." and then hang up.

Before the don't call list was established when I got calls I'd mess with them. If they asked for my wife I'd tell them she was tied up at the moment. Invariably they'd ask when a good time to call would be, so I'd tell them to call sometime after I untie her. Only one guy asked how long that would be.
