technique for dead lifts?

gilby i hate to agree with mp5 and rain on your parade but that's genetic. it's like people who have a big gap in their chest...no exercise is going to fill in the gap, it's just how you are. it makes you unique, so you should feel special that your lats are that way. lol

Gilby...the best exercise I know for the lower lats is curl grip rows. Do them just like bent over rows but use an underhanded grip, and don't pull the bar in a straight line...pull it back towards your belt line.

Bent over rows are an excellent exercise. Just use common sense. Hannible solid advise bro.

Doing bent-over rows with proper form is about as safe as using the rhythm method as birth control.

Or maybe it's just me. My back hurts. :D

I do bent over rows.....as long as you're using proper form, and a weight u can handle, you should be aight.

What kind of form you using X, you should have some soreness but not pain. And they are really safe.

My back hurts like fuck no matter what I do. I used to do bent-over deadlifts, like, a dozen years ago, but haven't done 'em since, and my back aches.
I always thought that i was keeping my back straight and only moving my arms. I then did dumbell bent-over rows, but I didn't feel shit from those...

Look into Yoga for basic back streatching techniques that will give you some flexability bro. It's improved my lifting and form beyond measure.
