Tattoos and Injection site!

GUESS

New member
I'm thinking of getting a tattoo soon and am thinking of getting it on my shoulder. Thing is, is that my shoulder is my area of choice for my sticks and I'm thinking that once the tattoo is there I will not be able to stick through the tattoo for health reasons , it just makes sense to me.

So my question is, is it o.k. or should I stick with my common sense thinking and maybe get the tattoo situated somewhere else to keep my shoulders clear for future sticks?

Thanks in advance! ;)

ive seen people do it all the time. even on the real sports with bryant gumble the guy on there did his shot right through his tattoo. i dont think it matters as long as the tattoo is healed all the way. then again there is always the glutes.

i also have tattoos and inject through them all the time, it makes no difference. also you wont see the little prick of the needle coz the tat will hide it. but you definetly shouldnt shoot the spot until the tat is completely healed. once its healed you should have no problems at all.

see, told ya.

I inject through my healed tatoos with no problem whatsoever. If you just went on cycle you shouldn't get a new tatoo until you're off anyway.

ye high bp, when i get cut or scratched while on, i keep bleeding for a while, nothing crazy, but it takes a while to scab, so the healing process of a tat may take a lot longer and while the artist is doing it you might start bleeding a bit too much. so just wait until youre off. trust me tats will always be there, theres no rush.

Healed is no prob, but a mate of mine got an abscess after injecting through the petrolium jelly just after he had it done (not too bright).

How ignorant can you be to shoot through petrolium jelly? Tell his dumb ass to invest in some alcohol swabs!

BTW, I go through my tats all the time, I just have to push a bit harder to break throught the scar tissue. They are also a great way to remember where the sweet spot is :)

umm..i have a tribal shoulder piece...goes down my arm, around tri-cep,down onto chest and back onto neck..if anything, it makes it easier...the tribal patterns form x-marks..and x-marks the spot...and if one of the spots hurts or bleeds really bad, then i remember not to stick there...go for it..just allow time for your tat to heal...
