Sorry for opening my mouth Shrebly, but for a moment I thought you were a 'modern' girl !.
I decided to respond because I feel comfortable talking to women about their periods and other issues if they feel comfortable talking to me about them.
I'm coming from a position of being married with two children, I've through just about everything with my wife, I've sat with her through 2 deliveries, cleaned up the mess when her water's broke on the first birth etc.. So thats why I felt I could respond. If you ever used the womens board you'll find that I often respond to thread's there, particulary if it's something that I've brought to my wife's attention.
Shock tactics was probably the wrong term to use, but for the want of a better way of putting it, you posted this here to get a reaction from the men here, deny it all you want but it's pretty transparent.

If I wanted to get a reaction from men then why would I use this topic? Think what you want - but there are a thousand other topics that would garnish more reaction than my original question about 'does lifting weights have any effect on the amount of the blood you lose?'
