Talk about a f***ed up life

Freak Show

I can't help but feel sorry for this client of mine. That, and I can't help but thank God for everything I have.

I started training Bill about one month ago. This is how he came to me. He is 44 years old. He is a Type 1 diabetic (has to take insulin). Two years ago, he had double or triple (can't remember right now) bypass surgery. Previously, doctors failed to diagnose his glaucoma and during this surgery, pressure in his eye built so high that he eventually lost all sight in his right eye. As if all this wasn't bad enough, during a separate surgery, he suffered a stroke severly limiting all function on the left side of his body. He now walks with a cane and has absolutely no proprioception (ability to tell where his body is in space) of the limbs on his left side.
I get a phone call today that this sunday he had a hemmorage in his left eye and is completely blind. He will however recover sight once the blood clears. That is the only good news he had. Some people have to live thru so much.

If I were in this situation I would be smoking weed all day long this is some sad shit to ear :(:(

i hope he has a loving family...
