how do you know you are taking enough
riskybizz007 Growin' I'll have to rephrase that b/c you did bring up a very good point. I take about 600mg of ALA when I'm low carbing at about 100-130g of carbs/day. That doseage works best for me when eating that many carbs/day. When bulking I continue to take 600mg but I don't feel the same. Might need more, but i found this to work best when eating around that many carbs/day for me.

for me, i am not a person in ketosis, nor a heavy duty body builder. i eat around a 40 30 30, protein, fat, carb diet. and i play alot of sports, and do some weight training.
i feel my biceps are fuller when i take ala just before my food. is that the guage i should be using.
