I'm getting a gallon everyday, plus green tea. So, I'm floating..:drink2:

Yep, i haven't had coffee in four weeks, and i really don't want or need any. now that my body is slightly adjusted to my increased water intake, i just crave more and more. i mean as soon as go pee, i need another cup of water cause i'd feel parched.lol
 
Thandie, i have a question. sorry to post it in the water thread. but i was just reading in the weight lifting section about hanging oblique raises. and they were saying that this exercise bulks up your waist? when i do these i really feel it! yet i do not want a bulky waist. whats your take on this?

I'm not thandie but I also do hanging leg raises and have not noticed any increase in bulk in my waist. I do these about 3X/week 25-30 reps x 3 sets.
I find it easier for me to do them on the smyth machine because I am so short. HEY~ at least I can reach the bar on the top notch:biggrin:(on my tippy toes) Keep at it girl!!

E, I would say it depends on how you do them and how heavy you go. Some people get on the hyperextension machine/bench and do their obliques. I'd say that's not a good idea to do anyway as you could hurt your lower back. I'm talking here for women.

If you like doing obliques, I suggest lying on a matt with your knees bend, hold a med ball on your chest (like a 20lbs) and go from left to right for one minute each set. Do 3 sets.

If you're going to do hanging abs, might as well do the from and go for the burn, or hold a med ball between your knees and do 25 reps.

I had a gallon yesterday. It was a challenge having to run around, but I did it!

hahaha, today i did abs, i didn't do this but i will trying next time i do abs. i did do the oblique exercise where you keep shoulders and chest on the ground and both knees to one side. this is a good one and burns with 15lb MBall.
 
You must have very soft skin by now!

I can sure tell in my face how softer it is.
As you know, I don't drink coffee, alcohol, or soda's. Water & tea are my only 2 forms of liquid. So getting in a gallon on most days is not a problem.
I especially hate drinking allot at work because it's such a big deal to have to pea all the time. It's allot easier here at home.

When I was in my teens and 20's I was a pepsi drinker and changed my evil ways by making a bet with a friend as to how much water we can consume. We were doing a show for a a week (modeling). I couldn't believe how smooth my skin was. I never touched soda again since.

I did it as well, plus 2 large cups of green tea. I got up about 3 times last night. :toilet: lol! I feel better I had all that water, however. Thanks, girl!

Thandie...I hit 224oz today. That was 7 of my 32oz bottles. And I don't think I could drink another drop of water right now:eek2:
How did you do?
BTW~ I find it ALLOT easier when drinking through a straw.

My tummy feels bloated from all the water. OR~Maybe I just have to pee again:biggrin:
I'm most definitely up for it again tomorrow. I will try to get 3 down before I leave for work at 8:45am. Then 2 at work, then whatever is leftover when I get home.
The straw does make a difference.

This morning so far I'm at 96oz and am shooting for 192oz(1½ gal)

Well, it looks like that by the end of the day, I'd have consumed 1 gallon. It's very hard to drink tat much water while sitting in a 7 hour class. Tomorrow is another day. I'll do my best..sigh!

I also hit 1 gallon. Not what I was hoping for but it's better than nothing I guess.
I hope I don't have a bladder infection because it feels like I constantly have to pee, and hardly anything comes out:confused:

Mommalu, take 3 cranberry caps a day if you're not seeing a Dr. next week.
