swole's Melanotan II Log

AAP said:
I must be a lucky exception because I have not done a single shot for maintenance since my last injection at the day 20 mark back in late April and I still have all my color.

(I also took like 5 days off from loading around day 12-17 because I was sick.)

I ordered another vial for my maintenance phase back in May and haven't opened it yet.

I tanned evenly too. Nothing was darker/lighter than another part of my body. (except my tan line that I worked to keep)

Wow, two months of no inj. and no loss. Does anyone know the half life of this peptide.

Also how long can one stay "on" MT, i have used now for about three months with great success

I loaded the first 50mg in 30 days... 1.6mg/day. I always took it before bed, cause at that dose it gave me a mild stomach ache for about 20-30 mins, but I rarely noticed it cause laying on your back eases the ache. Tanned every 3 or 4 days... and I was DARK by 2 weeks. I guess the dose is more about whatever you can handle. I'll take one 1.6mg dose every two weeks now, and I'm staying pretty dark year round.

Here's a question for the gurus...

Accutane and melanotan.

I know accutane makes you burn since it increases sensitivity to the sun.

Would melanotan help in this situation? If I take a low dose of accutane to keep my skin clear would melanotan still be as effective in keeping me dark?

Assuming accutane is necessary as a last course of action.

I remember that question before, it's been too long to remember what the answer/s are, I'll contact my friends over at Melanocorp to see what they say. Too touchy of a question to just guess, Acutane is nothing to play around with.

Let me have a day or so to get back with you on that.

You have that "extra" chromosome that makes you different than the rest of us mortals...

( your just lucky, the dose that you need is minimal for your body weight and has little or no sides, except the fact that you may need to have a bag of frozen peas handy if going out in public.)

txbondsman, will melanotan 1 and melanotan 2 produce the same level of tan if used in equal doses? I read somewhere that mt2 is more potent than mt1. thanks

Obviously im not txbondsman but yes MT 2 is more potent (so you will need less dosage) and it is also different than MT1 in that it has the sexual sides (good) that go with it

MT1 has a very short half life, requiring more than one shot per day, or so I understand. Potentcy isn't the word that you would use, it's as potent, but much shorter requires more shop frequency, hense, not as effective.

Kind of the same difference as Prop vs Cyp/ Enan....

Swolio, I haven't heard back from Melanocorp, so I PM'd a guy that I trust, I learned alot of what I know from him. And he posted:

"regarding accutane, stay the f*ck out of harsh sun, regardless of the MT2 or not
I cannot explain how bad you can get burnt on this stuff, it makes antibiotics look like sunscreen
"

I just asked about Accutane, not small or large amount, but that's what he wrote back.... It has to do with skin reaction, nothing to do with tan or NOT tan, that's what I remember. If it was a melanin thing, blacks and peeps with dark complexions wouldn't get the same warning, but to my knowledge they all do....

I had a hunch this was going to be the case. Thanks for the help bro, much appreciated.

I'm hitting up the tanning bed tonight for a short session. It'll be my first deliberate exposure to the sun since loading began 10 days ago.

take pics as you go, at some point start to take pics with peeps the you consider tan, you can get too dark and not know it, having the ref point keeps you aware of your color. Standing in the bathroom under bright artificial light, you really can't see what you look like to other people. People start to say, "damn man, where you getting that tan?" that's a good clue that your just about at the color you need, but it's very tempting to continue on several shades darker and then you run the risk of getting too dark. With your coloring, you'll be getting the blacker tint as opposed to the honey brown, be sure to look at the back of your neck, it will be damn near black while the more prominent parts, stomach and legs will lag a bit, so make sure that you SPF back there...
