He was there, maybe he knows something you don't? Maybe Kerry was crying?

Who cares? The guy has clearly stated that Kerry is lying about being under fire and yet his very own citation states that they were under fire. That is Clintonesque.

HO HO.. So what ?

Different situation Pops..
Should I hate/dislike someone due to one thing they do or did and not props them for something else if warranted ?

People keep dredging up the same old 4-5 dumb issues in this race instead of discussing the real issues and differences in policy agenda and belief..

So I though I would do the same and dredge up some silly mistake the Clinton
made that glares over all the good he did..

I was not using Clinton to prop up anyone. I was using him as an example of someone that actually deflected the silly issue of who went to vietnam and that not going makes one a bad leader or patriot..

Anyone can pull out silly news or political mud ads on both sides..
Neither side is innocent of not throwing the first mud over the last 20 years.

Wanna impress me ? Post up real idealogical or Political or Social issues and differences between the candidates instead of what their Campaign managers put out..

I'm Y lifter and I approve this message

word to mutha...

Who cares what either one did 30 years ago. This should be a mute point for both candidates. But Kerry brought it up so I’m not surprised at these attacks.

THE PROBLEM with being an opportunist is that you can easily forget what you've recently said.

On Monday, during a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, President Bush announced that he intends to modify the configuration of American forces in both South Korea and Europe. On Wednesday, Sen. Kerry, speaking before the same audience, sharply criticized the president's decision.

Appearing on ABC's This Week on August 1, however, Sen. Kerry responded to a question by host George Stephanopoulos on Iraq. Stephanopoulos asked Kerry whether, as president, he could "promise that American troops will be home by the end of your first term?" Kerry's answer:

I will have significant, enormous reduction in the level of troops. . . . I think we can significantly change the deployment of troops, not just there but elsewhere in the world. In the Korean peninsula perhaps, in Europe perhaps. There are great possibilities open to us. But this administration has very little imagination.

Apparently, Sen. Kerry wanted to appeal to the "get-the-boys-back-home" sentiment in the country when he spoke on This Week. Yesterday, addressing a convention of veterans, Kerry was busy burnishing his credentials as a hawk by suggesting that cutting our forces in Korea "is clearly the wrong signal to send" at this time.

Who knows what Sen. Kerry believes? Does Sen. Kerry even know?

they were not 'under fire' for which a bronze star is awarded. they hit a mine.

hitting a mine does not equal being under fire.

secondly, he did not file for a bronze star, a CO did.

isn't it odd, that the person who fell out of the boat was not even on the boat that hit the mine, but he was in kerry's boat, which was also the only boat to speed off and leave.
