this is actually to ease my mind. me and my brother started first cycle of sustannon 250 mon. night. he had redness and swollen injection site in glute. today he says it got a bit bigger and still hurts like bitch. i have no redness but of course feel like i got shot in the ass. he also describes it as a warmness to the area. when should he worry. he hit his self in the right spot as so did i. i know all these signs are no good. how long should he give it before checkn with doc? feed back please

Most of the time I say your all good do not worry.


This time I will say give it till morning. If it is still warm,red,and hurts go hit up the doc right away.

The doc is not going to be stupid he might as well just tell him/her the truth so he can take care of the problem correctly or he can just say he was injecting vitamin b12

check his body temp--if he had a fever, he has a problem (and need a doc asap). also look for red lines radiating from the injection site.

one mistake he made is he didnt pull back plunger to check for blood before pushing plunger in. also he said pain subsided when i called him few minutes ago. i just dont wanna panic him. could also be abcess right?

98.6 on oral. i also have a forehead one for my kids and both read 98.6 / he has red welt 3x3 inches no red lines or anything. just looks like someone whooped his ass.

You can legally buy and inject vitamin shots. I would tell him this.
Also take a hot bath, and give yourself some deep tissue massage to the area.. This will be painful but will help..

Also look for any red streaking, and like noted above take ur temp anything below 100 you good.

Bottom line...sust is a blend of multiple testosterone esters, and thats gonna hurt goin in...most likely for a day or two-especially to someone new to injecting it. I used to get redness and swelling from sust delt shots, but it was only pain that I would eventually get used to. Just listen to the bros on here for the telltale warning signs of an abcess; that is extreme redness, pain, and swelling accompanied by fever

if it is hard as a rock, swollen, red, and warm go to the doc and get on some bactrim for 10 days, if it doesnt clear it up they have to cut it open to drain it.. good luck

man up--i drained mine with a rusty nail and a used straw i found in the ground....it was the assectomy a week later that hurt.

but if his temp is notmal i would not worry as much--i get the same thing from primo---if the temp goes up, then you worry. he could have just nicked a vein (you said he did not aspirate) and/or it is supposed to stay in some sort of a mass (a depot) for a bit.

Your body isn't going to like the first injection.

My first inject of test cyp was 1cc in my delt. The site was pink, swollen, warm and had tendrils for 8 days. I took advil and let it subside. I think it's very rare that a site becomes infected. I would honestly give it 6-7 days before getting worried.

If you hit a vein, you'd know. Blood would rush into the syringe whether you aspirated or not.

Next time start with .5cc. Split your injections up more frequently (example - .5cc in left glute, .5cc in right glute 3-4 days later) until the body gets used to the idea of this foreign substance. No reason to blow your load with one injection.

Warm up to the idea of hitting quads and delts. Shoot the bodypart you plan on training that day or immediately after. Warm up the gear either in a hot water bath or blow dryer. Shoot slowly. Rub the site following injection. Take a warm shower after your workout. CVS has adhesive heating pads that last 8 hours, you can slap these on while you sleep. They're cheap.

Im doing sust rite now to and had no pain with the injection, but was a little bit sore the day after. Most people run a fever with infection, i wouldnt worrie till then. Winstrol had my ass all swole up and red and hurting like a bitch, but it was not infected and eventually it stopped hurting.

Its probably nothing. I get no paing from glutinear injections though. I shot my buddy in the thigh and I think I hit his bone or something a week or so ago. I called me up the next day all worried. I just made up some excuse and basically told him to rub some dirt on it.

As eddy said, no temp don't worry. I've been at it for many years, and there are still certain brands that give me HUGE painful knots every shot. Some even last 4 to 5 days. I know it is very concerning early on but hopefully it will pass and you will learn what your body likes and doesn't like.

I had similar problem with sus but no redness. sore as hell for at least 7 days. worse i've ever had from sus. Try massaging, heat pad, and arnica gel. i have got my soreness down to a day or two . Thanks to this site. I heat up syringe with heat gun then inject.Then I put a hot wet towel immediately on injection site for a couple of minutes. When the sorenesss starts to kick in a day later I'll massage it and put some arnica gel on soreness before sleep. I normally do this for two days. soreness is gone after two days. Hope this helps in future injections.

i appriciate everyones input and concern. this post was for my brothers sore ass. he says the warmness went away and the redness lightened up a bit but still a nice size welt.still no fever though, my injection went great, no redness pain is gone now. started dbol today. so hopefully we can knock this out without any more worries.
