Why did Booker and Rock go last? The Austin/Angle match was 10 times better. Not to mention the fact that the WWF title match should've headlined over the WCW strap.
1. Austin/Angle - Awesome match. The best work I've seen Austin do in a long time. Angle always puts on a good show and this was no exception. Angle had one hell of a crimson mask going. The screwjob finish was refreshing. It pissed a lot of people off, but it was supposed to.
2. J. Hardy/RVD - Very close 2nd. The best fight these 2 have had yet. They had a nice buildup and awesome use of the ladder. Not too many high spots but the ones they did do really delivered. The superplex from the top of the ladder was great. The sunset flip into the powerbomb that Jeff Hardy hit was the shit. Easily the best move of the night. The botched Van Daminator was dissapointing, but that was one hard spot to pulloff. That led to a weak finish, still one hell of a match.
3. Jericho/Rhyno - These 2 work well together. I questioned pairing their styles at first, but they pulled it off nicely. Rhyno is going to be at the top of the game pretty soon. Y2J kissing Stephanie was funny as hell. The 2 slips on the ropes could've injured Jericho but Rhyno and Jericho both covered them up nicely and continued the action. Steph's reaction had the end was great.
4. Edge/Storm - Good display of actual wrestling. Edge's powerslam off from Lance's dropkick was awesome.
5. Tajiri/X-Pac - Tajiri is just awesome. He didn't sell X-Pac's moves very well. Best match I've seen X-Punk have in a long time.
6. Rock/BookerT - Dissapointing main event. Boring untill the end.
7. Dudleys&Test/Apa&LSD - Good match for not having any buildup leading into it. The Spike table spot was brutal as always.
8. Take&Kane/DDp&Kanyon - Horrible match. The whole DDP/Taker feud has been dumb. Best part was Taker's rope work when he went off on DDP.
9. The women's match - Nice eye candy. Only caught the end of it.
The backstage interviews with The Rock had me laughing my ass off. Not that The Rock was that funny, but Meat's botched run-ins on The Rock were hysterical. The fact that they paid no mind to him helped make it funnier.
Awesome PPV overall. Best I've seen since WM.
