have a long flight... need reading material.

oh so witty are the future comments of playboy and what.

I like Dan Brown, James Patterson is ok, I used to read Stephen King but all his books seem to end with fucking alien involvement or some other stupid shit. The book is great until the last two chapters and then it turns into a shit fest.

Koontz has some good ones, Lightening, Watchers, Tick Tock, etc.. haven't read any of his new ones though.

I like Dave Sedaris (Me Talk Pretty One Day) and such...

so.. any suggestions?

warren buffett speaks, wit and wisdom from the world's greatest investor by janet lowe. warren buffett is a funny dude. it's a quick easy read, you'll get some laughs.

bro i read a book a week
check out white devil in the city
Devil in the white city?

Enjoyed it, nicely intertwines the two stories. One of genius, vision and risk shadowed by the macabre tale of Holmes.

Also, I want a book that won't require much brain power to comprehend. Cause I plan on doing some drinking while flying too. I can't be bothered with this Nancy Drew shit that makes you start thinking from the first paragraph.

he said "long flight" not "taking a shit".....

Have you read John Sandford? If you like patterson and koontz you'll dig it.
Kinda sicko detective stories. Good summer reading.

Look for anything with Fabio Lanzoni on the front cover.

yeah good call i fucked the title
and the author has another book out, about a murderer and the telegraph i think
i should read it
and AAP, the book intertwines two plots
the main plot is the 1892 (i think?) world expo that was held in chicago and it's effects on the city and those that made it happen
the secondary plot is about a shady doctor who scams, cheats, and murders his adversaries and family. sick fuck and it's non-fiction guaranteed you'd dig

yep...the gunslinger/dark tower series was good.

He REALLY fucked the pooch by waiting so long to finish.....sort of like the Sopranos - when they went 1 1/2 years with no new episodes...folks just lost interest

Atlas Shrugged

Divine Comedy

The Godfather

Atlas shrugged is a chore. A complete snore fest.

Devine Comedy is a favorite but after inferno it gets less fascinating. Best read with additional materials to help you get all the references and fully apreciate the artistry, which makes it a tough plane read.

Agreed on the godfather. Top notch.

I heard Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series are good

They are. You can burn through them in maybe two days and they're pretty entertaining.

Brett Easton Ellis books are good too. Less Than Zero, American Psycho, Rules of Attraction...
