I'da thought that was somehting that would come out of Hasselback's mouth
I was counting on that also but she came through in the clutch when her team needed her.

That show is just an embarrassment for the female gender - I cringe anytime I hear someone say "the view".

Agreed, annnnnnnnnnnnd, real women aren't afraid to admit they love John McTiernan films.

I grew up with Elisabeth. She was never as dumb/clueless as everyone says she sounds on the view. I always wanted to tag her tho.

OMG what an embarrassment.

If someone had asked her a specific question about microbiology or a complicated tax question I could see the answer being, "I dont know." as nobody knows everything. But to be asked the question, "IS THE WORLD FLAT?!?!"

What was she thinking? :worried:

What could the point of such an answer be? Was she trying to play devil's advocate? Ummmmm huh?

I believe that she honestly does not know whether to believe the Earth is round or not. I've known many people in my life who were terribly ignorant of basic known truths. There are many people like this in the world, it's sad.

And it's not that they have not been told the facts or even shown proof, they simply can't commit to or believe what they are being told.

I find the irony in the fact she believes the Bible 100% but refuses to believe something that can be shown via evidence.

I'm not sure. I took her response more as "I have better things to do than investigate the truth" than "I saw a round globe but just didn't believe it".

She didn't NEED to investigate it. It is fairly easy to google and watch a video shot from space.

... not to mention the fact that no one has ever fallen off the edge!

I hold the same opinion of the Lifetime channel.... :worried:
Oh God, me too! My stepmom used to watch those terrible movies on there when I was growing up. Holy hell, could movies be any worse?

Remember, there are some people who still don't believe we've been to the moon.

How do you know that? Clearly everybody who fell off the edge died so it's not like we can go back and ask them! All those people you see on milk cartons? They aren't missing.....THEY FELL OFF THE DAMN EDGE, FOOL!

Dang! I guess me and Sistagurl are the only ones who get it. :)

You might want to pitch the last year of your life to the network as a "Lifetime Original Movie." :)

I like Bravo - I will often leave that on during the day while I'm working instead of music.

I love food (Top Chef) and I have a huge crush on Tim Gunn and that Flipping Out show is a riot.

Me too, I love Project Runway. Have you seen his new makeover show with Veronica Webb?

not believing in evolution is EXACTLY like believing in a flat earth. we have as much evidence for evolution as we do for a spherical earth.

^^^ strong racism there, I can't believe there are people that fucken stupid, she's worried about feeding her kids? go back to school then, Whats with that show always changing every topic to politics? for fucks sake is everything to Americans politics and war? Because looking in from the outside at what the media has to show is thats all you care about. Being that I'm not that ignorant i know it's not but with shows like that what are people to think? On a side note to this a friend of mine the other day asked me what was bigger the sun or the earth, i had to laugh and on a certain level I'm still laughing but in a sad way
