Study: Investigating Commuting Patterns

Currently, I am conducting a study on urban land use changes using 3 case study cities. I am interested in finding statistics for commuting patterns. Maybe you guys can help. I have five simple questions for each of you to answer:

1. Do you live in a "core city" or a satellite city (suburb)?


2. From your current residence, how far are you willing to travel to work each day? In other words, what is the maximum distance you want to live from work?


3. How long does it take you to get to work each day (estimated time)?


4. Do you feel that your city is filled with traffic congestion? If so please specify: Light, Medium, or Heavy


5. What type of vehicle do you drive? (car, SUV, truck, or other (please specify)

1) core city all the way. GO TEAM!

2) I'm more concerned about time than distance. I'd say 30miles. but that would suck.

3) it takes me 30 mins, and I live 5 miles away - fucking traffic.
