What happens when someone's student visa runs out. Do they have any options to have it extended? I am asking about a friend. He is on the verge of being famous (he's young) and has 40 something different work opportunities offered outside the country as we speak. I have a very close friend who has worked at the United Nations for 30 years and I will be asking them soon this same question. Just in case you guys have any tips so I can help him out.

Think there's a 1 year work thing after graduating. For work there's only sponroship visas like h1b although for entertainment there is the O class visas which companies use to get foreigners.

Far easier to just be illegal and wait for the amnesty

Lol, ya I'm not accidentally in those videos. I am in them because many of my good friends work in the music industry.
My friend is a producer and there is a chance I may manage him in the future, For now we are just friends.

Yes. It's called the OPT program. You can work legally in the country if your job relates to your field of study. You can't go to school at the same time.

He gets plenty of work here, the problem is is if he leaves the country he will not be able to come back. I am not joking when he is one of the premier producers in the industry.
