My friend, Dexter, whom most of you know, has been scammed by Stroyer, a former Mod on the Renegade board. He has also appeared here on EF.

Actually, Dex was reverse scammed for $1,340. Delivery confirmed and debt acknowledged in mid-November 2000.

Repeated emails resulted in no further replies, not even a "Here is my situation...".

Now it is 23 May. With a serious illness coupled with other personal problems, you can imagine how Dex felt about someone he thought he could trust. Mods, by definition, are not scammers. Even former Mods.

Stroyer has used a zillion email addresses, his most recent being [email protected]. But he has used [email protected], [email protected], and numerous others.

Stroyer is a scammer.

damn that sucks...alot of money..sometimes i wish i had a submachine gun and fuck a nigga up that did that shit..but what can you do..hope he gets fucked in the long run, and he will.. It will come back to him, some way or another.

I must admit your post really surprises me.. I've known Stroyer for close to 3 years and have friends that have fronted him considerable amounts of gear without any probs. Also, not trying to make excuses for him but I do know he recently got scammed for over $3K by Eagle89. I think he's kind've in a jam right now...hopefully you'll be able to get in touch with him and work this out.

Hey Damian, can you post this at the Anabolex board?

I wonder how the mods there will react to this.

Its a pretty hefty accusation. If true, I'm going to run him to the
ground. I hate reverse scammers even more than real
scammers.

That doesn't justify him doing the same.

Now what do we have here:

a reverse scammer, but a well know person
who orders gear and yes he is fronted
but doesn't pay.

If it was the other way around, everyone would like to hang Titus.

That's really fukked up situation. Stroyer was good to me in a past, when I didn't know anything, and I respect him.
Hope that Drexter and Stroyer will work it out, and hope that it's just some kind of misunderstending, really wouldn't won't to be disappointed with a good guy...:(

This was not easy for him. And Dex is no stupid person. He is a person who has always done his best not to let his bro's down, despite the "force majeure" circumstances that happen in this "small world in which we travel," as Slopain says.

And he was very selective. Stroyer passed his "credit check" in Dex's view. He was backed time and time again by Black_Knight (also a former Mod on Renegade), who was backed by, of all people, FLEX!

Dex traveled in pretty solid circles with fine bro's with whom he is still pleased to communicate. Friends. People who always came through. People talking about their jobs, girlfriends, kids, etc. Fronting in these circles is not unusual for such amounts. And that deal was an absolute rock-bottom, Blue Light Special, wholesale transaction.

When you are late, for some reason, on your credit card payment, one doesn't just sit back and wait. He or she keeps the creditor informed. This did not even happen with Stroyer after repeated emails.

Dex has been no stranger to computer problems, financial issues, and personal matters. But he is a stranger to being burned by someone with whom he had a dialogue for months and who disappeared on him.

Not to disparage anyone, but if it had been for a much smaller amount from an average user, Dex would probably have not wasted any further time, just considering him yet another motherfucker in this oftentimes dirty business. But this is an issue of integrity, and it is shocking to learn that he is a Mod on Anabolex.

It's sad, bro's, really sad. If you can't trust a Mod on a respected board, whom can you trust? If a guy isn't mature enough to deal with his own issues in a competent and honorable manner, what does that speak about him as a Mod?

Rest assured, this is not a mindless slam at Stroyer. It's just a documented fact. And Brother Stroyer can either stand up like a man or hunker down and wait for incoming.

This sucks, Dexter is a great individual willing to front people who he believes he can trust.

This is very sad stroyer has helped me in the past as well and to see that he did this too you is sad he has been having many many personal problems and a battle with e and rope addiction... I would give him a little chance but this sounds like it is gone... I am definitly glad I didn't do something with him that would have turned my rep to shit... Thanks for the heads up sometimes the best bros turn to shit... He lost his job and well down down down he went...
 
Damian is right. Stroyer's working on getting money and product out to everyone he owes it to. Getting scammed for $3K takes some time to get back on your feet and pay off debts. Just have to give the man time.

Like I said, there is no excuse for not paying. This is an unfortunate situation and I hope it works out for all involved.
 
This is bad news. Even if the guy does have problems if he was to tell Dex all the way through i am sure it would not have come to this.
This should be posted on Anabolix as well
 
Scammers are scammers whether reverse or not whether with money or integrity and trust. They deserve what they eventually get. I don't understand why he wouldn't come foward with the $, its not an obscenely large amount at all. I hope it gets resolved, if not I hope he gets what is coming to him. Good luck.
 
Maybe Dex had it coming to him. I say that cause he still owes me over $700 worth of gear that was ordered a year ago. 1 YEAR AGO!!! You think I'll ever see that hard earned money again? Don't think so.

You're right its a dirty business, but what goes around comes around.
 
Hacker...this does not surprise me, and I'm sure it wouldn't surprise Dexter.

As I recall him mentioning,you were the first one to pounce and cry "foul" when Dex was having some really difficult logistical problems last year. But he kept in touch, unlike brother Stroyer.

And in repeated attempts to get you your stuff, he lost and lost - and kept losing, to the point where you acknowledged "writing it off."

Maybe you are right; he got what was coming to him...

But your door didn't get kicked in, thanks in part to a hero of a bro whose name shall remain anonymous.

If you still have any pent-up frustrations or gripes, please feel to email me and I'll pass them along.

And please keep in mind that your situation is unique and very different from that of Stroyer's, which is the subject of this thread.

Back on topic, from the emails I've gotten it seems that Stroyer's life is pretty much in the toilet. (Too bad none of them was from Stroyer himself.)

After getting a better picture, I believe Dex too will just "write it off." You can't squeeze blood from a turnip.

Is it my fault he had "logistical" problems. I thought I handled myself like a gentleman the entire time. He could have sent a portion of my money back, or did something to rectify this. Bottom line, I'm out over $700. Period. Most people would have cried scammer 6 months ago. No more emails for you or dex because I'm never seeing that money again. Thats what I guess for being "the nice guy".

And who's kicking down my door? Is that a threat?
 
well

I posted back in Feb. on Anabolex about Stroyer and the debt. I tried to log back on later that afternoon and was no longer able to get in.

I emailed 2 other mods and asked why, one included stroyer, I did not get a reply from Stroyer and the other mod said it was Stroyer's doing and that they support each other as moderators.

And Hacker...I've talked to Dex and feel free to shoot me an email so that I may clear up your issue on his behalf.

Titus its always nice to see you post. Hope all is well.

Its a silly life with all of this...but Im sure none of us would trade to go back to where we used to be.

2. Isn't this bordering or stepping over the border of being an open source post? Not that it shouldn't be an issue addressed for all to see, but maybe the source's name should have been left out of the mix here. Just an opinion.

well since i was mentioned

yes i had no complaints on BK,just like everyone else that knew him so whats your point??

as for stroyer reverse scamming Dex then i would like to see all the info on it and i will go from there but i find it funny that someone who scammed a board member 700 bucks then gets took on a reverse scam has the balls to cry foul----LOL

and by definition sources aren't suppose to scam money either

i think if both of these things are true its pretty sad and now they are airing it out in the open----a scammer against a reverse scammer LOL

i will contact stroyer and find out the deal on the Dex thing and if its true i will ask him to get it cleared up ASAP

as for what stroyer owes---well he bought from eagle(who was backed by a few mods here and everywhere also i think)and he got scammed the money but instead of folding and saying oh well as many sources have done he is trying to sell some of his personal belongings to get money to pay people back and on top of this he had problems with his PC(modem)so it didn't look good on that

this is my first post over here and sorry it had to be on this and hopefully the next will be something better,like BB'ing

It is good to hear from you over here. You may hold the record for being a Mod on a well-respected board - it must truly be a labor of love for you. Dex recalls how often Black Knight spoke so respectfully of you. Dex misses BK, frankly, and has wondered what happened to him.

I am not in the business, and Dex is out of the picture. How could this possibly be construed as an open source post?

Regarding scamming: The situation is not as black and white as Hacker would portray, and I will furnish no further details (those of which I am aware). If Hacker wants to get his jollies taking jabs at Dex, or others, well, that is his privilege, provided they comply with the rules and protocol of this board.

I will ask this, however: When a package is seized and seized and seized again, where do you draw the line?

Hacker, it is no surprise you suggested that Dex would threaten you. This is utter nonsense. And might I suggest that if you had continued a constructive dialogue with Dex, who was dependent on income from people such as Stroyer and others (it's called "Cash Flow" in Business 101), there might have been a settlement?

To the best of my knowledge, NONE of Dex's former clients would ever suggest he scammed them. Other than Hacker, of course.

Perhaps I never should have posted this thread. I hope Stroyer's life takes a turn for the better, I really do. He is a young guy with a lot of life in front of him.

P.S. It really is difficult, for some reason, to reach Anabolex. Always seems to give a "Page Not Found."
 
Hey Titus. Hi brother, haven't heard from you or Dexter in ages! Too bad about abou stroyer. Reverse scammers are the worst kind. Stay in touch.
 
I had problems with Dexter too. But he came through in the end like he said he would. Stand up guy in my opinion.
 
This is my last post on this subject, because its beating a dead horse.

I know Dex has never scammed anyone, and has always come through. (except in my case) I've always respected Dex. In fact, I backed him several times for being a moderator on this board even when I knew I wasn't getting my order.

I've already "written off" that money a long time ago, but when I see Dexter's name appear, it reminds me of over $700 lost. My previous post on this thread was just me venting. I still fail to see why I'm the "bad guy" here. Maybe my post was totally inappropriate, but what would you do in my situation.

TA, I'm not getting my "jollies" from my previous post, and if you would enlighten me on why stopping someone (a hero as you say) from beating down my door is not a threat, I would love to hear it. Maybe I'm not smart enough to read between the lines.

I apologize to everyone for wasting board space with this nonsense. Dex, I hope you get your money back from Stoyer, and I'll never bring this up again.

well it is a labor of love(has been for many years) but right now the software is really pissing me off;)as you can tell by it being down:(

well there are many sources at every board and not just sure who Dex is(for sure) but what happened to BK is a total mistery----seems no one knows and the guy that showed up using his name on the gade was not him either

myself and IronMike both have tried for a long time to get ahold of him with no luck,so we have to hope for the best for him

i contacted stroyer last night and asked what was up with this and for info,cause i'm totaly in the dark over this but i want to know whats up with it also

on a seized packaged it should have been brought up before any dealing are done and the normal for overseas is with a notice they reship 100% or 50% depends on source but after that is over but in my oponion a overseas source that fronts is asking for trouble reguardless how good his packing is

i'll say one thing the threads move fast here:)

i'll be dropping in more often and hopefully Anabolex will be back up soon
