strip clubs.....yay or nay?

some friends are going and i was like ' i get to see what all the ef guys have seen, YAY'

but other friends (female) are saying that just by me going im labelling myself as dirty and sleazy and they would never go to a strip club or objectify men (bullshit on the latter ), and that they would lose a lot of respect for me (a pretty serious implication even if they didnt mean it like that)

while i managed to get them to the point where they couldnt answer back (just by basically proving to them that while a man semi-naked is socially accepted its still a partially sexual image), do u feel a strip club is really that bad? im still prolly gonna go as i have to experience this once, ive seen too much american TV and it has told me it is the thing to do when u hit manhood

I find strip clubs lame. unless you work there, the women pretty much see you as a wallet with money to give them. and if you're a normal guy with normal money you're probably not going to get laid. So what's the point? The only time I had fun was when I went with my cousin in Cleveland who bounces at a strip club. The girls were very friendly when they found out I wasn't some bum off of the street.

Go to one. It is an interesting experience. Don't think for a second that any of the girls are really interested in you, no matter what they say. Tip a few bucks, drink a few beers, and have a good time. And follow the rules that are laid down. Some clubs are pretty strict about that- the ones where I worked sure were.

And if one really IS interested in you, run for your life. Run, run, run.

i have visited more than a few stip clubs here in the big sleazy; most of the gals don't live up to your standards or expectations.

be prepared to drink watered down booze, loose all the money u can, and look at average at best girls.

Low class shit in my opinion. you can go meet girls, spend nothing on them, and enjoy yourself more than *some slut putting her stuff in your face to support a hefty blow habit.

agree w/ the if you're going to go make sure it's a "classy" (hehe kinda funny descrip. of a strip club) one.

I don't see a prob w/ an occasional trip, but some guys are ADDICTED to them, and spend tons of money there 'cause they're Mr. Big Spender get the good table, low-self-esteem get the ego boost wherever they can type people.

Lots of places, the girls all have bruises on the legs etc. and are just N-A-S-T-Y.

I'm in the been-there-done-that group, probably haven't gone to one in almost 10 years, and probably wouldn't go again unless it is a bachelor party or get back together with the college pals type thing.

Dude, for the type of money you are going to blow at the strip club, you can go to a massage parlor and have some REAL fun. To get into a strip joint at peak times is about 15-20 bucks, one lap dance that lasts a couple of minutes is another 20 bucks, drinks are outrageous. Shit, you can blow 100 bucks real easy and hardly get anything out of it.

Now a "sensual" massage therapist will give you a damn nice massage AND get you off for about the same amount you would spend at the club.

However, since you have never been to a strip joint, its probably a good idea to go just to say you have. My advice would be to be REALLY tight with your money. Don't spend a dime unless the girl is HOT, and at least pretends to like rubbing her ass on your crotch. Some of the chicks will go through the motions like a robot, so keep an eye out for the lively ones.

The girls will come and sit on your lap, and you will feel pressured into letting them give you a lap dance. Don't be afraid to say no, just say that you there to watch the stage show. They'll get up and leave in a flash. And don't buy them any drinks or shit like that.
