I actually went to a crappy assed strip club with a group of buddies and the girls there were a bit skanky. Let me put it this way...dreadlocks and gold teeth. ANYWAY...I wasn't interested so I noticed Sportcenter was on the big screen and there was a pool table right in front of it. So I went and played some pool and these girls kept coming over "want a lapdance? want a lapdance?". After telling them no thank you, I finally said "naw, don't want a lapdance, but you wanna play some pool?". Well they all considered themselves hustlers since they play at the club all the time. So they wanted to play for money. Long story short, I won fifty bucks and a free lapdance

Bikinimom you seem defensive, but don't be because I am not judging what you do for a living because it is your life and honestly I don't know you. I actually gave you a complement and said you seem classy and did not call you specifically a prostitute. I dated a dancer for many years who was a stand up person although she did have her problems. During that time a became close with many many dancers. Very beautifull young women and from what I extapulated from this experience is that dancing is a trap. I hear it all the time where else could I make this type of money and have this flexibility in my shedule. One year becomes two two become four etc etc... Maybe a dancer makes great money know, but it is short lived and most (not talking about you b/c I don't know you) don't know how to save a dime. Easy come easy go. Think about the other factors that come into play such as loss of workskills, significaant timeline gap in your resume (enless one wants to put down dancing), most of the time a low income level is reported to avoid paying taxes and there are a ton of other significant reseans which I could ramble on about. Is it really worth it? Maybe know but long term will you really be ahead? I know you say you don't disrespect yourself, but a lot of men in there disrespect you whether it is to your face or more so behind your back. Is it worth that emotionally anguish you face 5 years from now to pick a dollar from someones hand? Sorry but it is true most of these girls get use to a certain level of income and as they get older or want quicker money they do become an escort. Not saying you will do it, but a lot do. Look at the internet and you see many websites such as www.eros.com hosting these offerings. Most girls do hustle on the side, but chances are they just don't tell you whether you see it or not. They meet guys with money and then try to milk them for it and remember everything in life comes with a price.
