Stretch Marks

Consider them battle scars. They will only really look less prominant when you shrink down. Don't want that to happen - so - let 'em grow!!.........

battle scaras my ass. they suck balls. and when they bleed you know you have them bad

Retin-a was the only thing that seemed to make a marked difference on fresh stretch marks. It will do nothing on older stretch marks. It took me 2-3 weeks to see some fading.

I've used vitamin-e before, but I can't really say if that helped, or if they were fading on their own. It was a pretty slow process with that.

The stretch marks which I used retin-a on are much less noticeable than those I didn't use it on. I used the 0.1% concentration, and it even helped on some of the deep fucking tears I had. The advantage of the retin-a definitely diminishes with the age of the stretch marks. Try to catch them when you first see them forming.

Retin-a just made my stretch marks look more red.

I've been using cocoa butter for awhile and it hasnt done much of anything...

Bro, I wasn't trying to make fun of or minimize your issue. I've got a lot of them myself. I just want to make sure you understand the point of view of a bro thats down the road some from where you are now (read: I started getting them at age 21 and I'm now 37). They really bugged me when I first started getting them and they were really red. But it didn't stop me from training, and, vit E, various other creams didn't do shit for them. But, as they get older (over some years) they don't stay red, they are still scars, but, they just are not as noticible, and, you get used to them. They don't bother me at all now, and, haven't for 10 years at least. So, consider waiting on the surgery option, let it play out some....

TIME...nothing else, only thing you can do is put lotion on before workouts to help prevent them from getting bigger. laser doesnt work that great, and way to costly, atleast in my experiance with one on my arm. you could quit working out and use TAZORAC cream(doesnt work that great) dont really want to use it while you workout ever because it dryes your skin and they/it break open and can get bigger etc. I personaly dont think you can do a thing about them.

For those who have stretch marks, what was the best way you found to diminish their size and or redness? I have just started using retin-a cream, how long does it take to work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
