He did a good job, but you can't expect every street fight to go that smoothly. A lot of these street fighters aren't that dumb and know how to win fights. Good video though.

Looks to me like he hit him in the cartoid artery (the big one that goes down the side of the neck). One shot there will knock you out cold.

If the spot actually was tw 17 , you can be killed by being hit there, and there is no cure!! The shot was soft enough that being stunned was all that happened.
That spot can all be "rubbbed" in kung fu terms to paralyze the opponent.

I love the way he lined up on him and got his right foot positiioned to thrust toward him. I couldn't competently comment on what that was, but I know it was nicely done.
It looked like he was removing himself from the situation(not very fast, I know), but he had to keep turning to make sure he didn't get charged from behind.
I hope something like this couldn't get someone in trouble legally. He had almost finished crossing the street.
I would have lined up on him, thrown a soft left to distract him then a hard straight right; temple or jaw.
