With 1 50 kilo and 3 25 kilo plates per side, around 595 lbs. or so.

Thanks for clarifying that.

some of those asian guys have like fucking 2x4 steel bars as forearms. Fucking scary shit. Combine that with lightning speed and 900 megatons of energy and they ARE a force to be reckoned with. Look at all those UFC guys that get their asses kicked while on asian tours.

My partner does that when we squat, i'm not comfortable with it!

What? The big UFC guys get whipped by little Asian guys? I did not know this. Provide a link or something.

i doubt that, just look at K-1 where it's mainly striking, european guys are kicking ass over there in japan. seeing that asian guys are usually smaller than fighters from other parts of the world, i sincerely doubt that they could kick the UFC guys' asses. since bodyweight is more of a factor in UFC than in a stand-up, striking sport IMO.

There is a guy at my gym, 'Svenni No-Neck', that is a 70kg, UmpaLoompa sized killing machine. He does 'LMNH' (Look Ma, No Hands) squats. He is a bar bending, heavy bag ripping mother fucker and with his clothes on looks like the guy you automaticly call 'kid', but only once.

That kind of intensity and stregth/size ratio is amazing to watch: much respect. Too bad I swim on the shallow end of that gene pool.

I got the numbers from a eurotrash lifter who was familiar with the plate sizes over there.

My estimate would be 190kg (418). The color code we have at my gym for Elieko bumpers are blues: 20kg, red 25kg.

who cares about the weight, most people couldn't do it with 135lbs no matter how much they squat because they don't have the good form or balance.
