Storing gear outside?

For safety reasons, a friend of mine is considering storing his gear outside and we wanted to know if this is going to hurt the gear?

Temperatures get max of 100 degrees around here and will be in the shade or in the ground. The idea is just to store the gear until it's needed for the next cycle.

I don't think it is a good idea for storage. If you are talking long term storage, then I see no reason whay it can't be seal in plastic and then in containers and buried (for saftey sake as you say)...get a good depth and it will stay at a nice consistant temp

Or you could pop a hole in the wall behind a lamp than screw it back on. Im not sure what kind of "safety" ur talkin about.

Well, we've heard a rumor that he's on steroids (which he is), and just doesn't want the gear easily found. He's got a neighbor that really doesn't like him and would probably go out of their way to get the cops at his house, so he wanted to store the gear outside somewhere where it isn't found easily once this cycle is over. In other words, for a fairly long period of time.

He's married and a father of 5 kids and he loves his family... he just doesn't want anything bad to happen and wants to be as safe as possible.

And thanks Goldprospector, that's what we figured too. Just wanted to hear it from someone else saying it'd be fine.

Why dont you keep the gear at your place, maybe he would share then to.
