Stiff lower lip

I found out what was wrong with my lip-clogged salivary gland. I thought it was a canker sore but it's been there for 3 weeks. Finally I asked a pharmacist what I could take for a canker sore, and I showed her my lip. She said it looks like a clogged salivary gland and that all that can be done is to have it lanced, or else it will take forever to clear up. Me being the stubborn bastard I am, I didn't want to wait around for a doc, so I just did it myself, and now it's bleeding like a bitch. Oh well, I'll throw some peroxide on it and wait it out.

I stuck a tack in there and poked a few holes in the hard lump. It's swelling up, and I poured a few rounds of peroxide on it. Roughly a 3/8-inch thumb tac with plastic end is what I used. It was almost sticking straight up, stuck in my lip, sunk in to the hilt.

It has subsided for now. I'll have to go to a dentist, or doc, since my feeble attempt at remedying my lip's condition has yielded little improvement.

I gotta hit the sack now.
