No doubt...

I believe you bro and can't wait till the day i feel the same boost!!! In recent weeks i have been depressed for some reason i guess trying to do too much at once. As of last week i have been on a rush and feel great. The training program is goin great, also running both sprints and endurance, kicked ass in my recent fights, and doin great in college. I cant wait till the summer already as i am getting ready for my 1st cycle. Not a big one cause i don't believe i need a big one i will gain a lot off of what i have in mind. I've been around long enough and have access to much!!! ;)

Well bro....

More confidence and agression along with power!!! But too much aggression tends to leave one making mistakes sometimes and what good is power for some who can't use it properly. Some day i'd like to be Tyson's size but more ripped and crazier but i gotta hand it to that man he is a lil insane!!! Also id like to keep my brains in the process!!!:FRlol: :FRlol: :FRlol:

Shit I was gone all day and look what I missed, another idiotic thread, getting beaten to death....so many "internet tough guys" out there, so anyway here goes.....Tyson is a washed up pussy.....yeah I said it....oooohhhh better run and hide....fact is Tyson wouldn't last 30 seconds in the ring with me or anyone else I know who fights on "the circuit" just out of curiousity Ninja what circuit do you fight in....what is your discipline...obviously not Ninjitsu so what then....where are you located....I have a fight next on May 3rd if you would like to come it's in St. Louis, I am fighting Brazilian Mike....who has trained with Royce, Tito, and some really decent local guys out at Universal......point being made here is juice does not make an individual tougher....stronger maybe.....but all of the people saying that strength is what wins fights on the ground......it's actaully more about technique...hence the entire Gracie family tradition.......if there are any true UFC fighters or K1 guys on the board speak up.....give us your input......

I'm going weigh in on this. Tough is mental to me and I believe gear will make you tougher. I hadn't been in a fight for over three years because I don't like fighting. Recently I rumbled with someone on gear, I'm currently natural. He was the one that walked away, but if this guy was hurt he didn't show it. This guy took some blows that would crumble most people and even though he walked away, I still don't think I would have won if he would have pushed the issue. I've fought some tough natural guys both bigger and smaller than me in the past, I don't lose very often. This guy was probably twenty pounds heavier, and I don't think I've been hit quite that hard before.

All things else being equal, size and strength will win.

Because of that, steroids can augment one's ability to fight insofar as the added strength/endurance can contribute to the brute tools required to inflict damage.

Darksideninja--

Hate to tell you bro, but UFC is not real streetfighting by a LONG shot. The primary difference is that you will never ever see a truly qualified adversary coming. Street fights are not fair, and they are not stopped. UFC may be the closest thing, you could be right about that, but still, nowhere near the genuine fight for survival. UFC is a SPORT. An interesting sport, to be sure, and a somewhat brutal sport.

I notice on this board a bizarre preoccupation with toughness in general. I think that there could be a correlation between those who fear smallness and those who fear weakness. The reason that many cringe at the thought of being small is because they dread the possibility of other people thinking that they are weak. Look at Ninja's comments. For him, the ultimate nightmare is to be considered weak. He asserts his ability to fight natural. Here's a newsflash, ninja. You cannot fight, period. You are too easily controlled mentally. You want to become a better fighter in one day? Learn right here on this board that you are afraid of being considered 'not tough', and conquer that particular fear. Once you understand that it is not important if others think you are tough, you will be much tougher than you are now. Right now you waste a lot of energy trying to CONVINCE yourself and others about something very insignificant. The physical tools of fighting are something that anyone can learn. The mental clarity required for survival outside of the ring is another thing entirely.

This continued speculation about who could beat up who is purile. The fact is that you will never EVER see the toughest individuals inside any sportfighting ring. Why? They HATE fighting. They realize that to pointlessly risk one's health for an AUDIENCE is an exercise in self-ratification. You think any of the UFC fighters are there for any reason other than to prove how tough they are? The desire to prove that, in and of itself, renders them one notch below a genuine survivalist fighter, simply because they routinely expose their mental and physical resources. In the real world there is no 'squaring off'. Remember that.

I certainly respect the dedication required to become an excellent UFC fighter. I know a few of the successful ones. They are respectable people in all regards, at least in my experience. There are a couple of them on these boards. The best of them will tell you right now that they are aware that the survivalist elements of streetfighting are removed from sport fighting.

Here's the difference for those of you who still don't see it:

In the ring, it's about fighting only. On the street, its about NOT fighting. A ring mentality in the street will get you killed.

SK i highly doubt that. How much do u weigh punk?? Yea that's what i thought. I prolly weigh more than your lil ass and i guarentee i have years mroe of training than you and are all natural for the time being. I've been in well over 100 fights and this post was not meant to say who was tougher just to hopefully put it through think skulls like yourself that punk-ass-bitches like yourself think they are tough. Before you start the flamin about "o he just likes to start fights" :bawling: look at what u posted up there bro. If you have a problem with me like some do don't bring it on the boards nobody wants to hear you whine bring it to me and meet me in the ring and ill show you what a natural kid can do to a freak like yourself. I just posted this thread as an eye-opener for all you who think you know the first thing about defense. It's not a game and you can laugh all you want but when you run into a Mike Tyson on the streets that lil bottle of test ain't gonna save your ass when your in a coma!!! Now try to stay on topic it you can for one damn post!!! PLEASE...

lol. dude youre not for real are you? the stuff you said is laughable

Excellent post FS.

Ninja, your question has nothing to do with juice. Your question is really does being big/strong make you a better fighter. It's obvious that if you take two completely evenly skilled individuals, except one is bigger and stronger, that the bigger and stronger individual has an advantage.

It's also obvious that if you take a person not on roids, then take that same person on roids and compare "toughness", the roid version will win (assuming the cycle is put together well).
