Well keeping it in you car makes you a moving target. A police officer only needs reasonable suspicion to search your car. So if you are speeding, get into an accident, forget a turn signal, you are a open for trouble. Not too mention you will be nervous because you know its in there and that might tip him off.

If they ask to search your car ALWAYS say no. Even if you are clean.

Also you are leaving your gear open to the heat and cold in winter.

What if you put your gear into a dop kit or something and put it inside your luggage? How often does she check those bags?

Yeah, Benoit really is drawing a lot of heat on the steroid issue across the freakin' world....as for keeping your pack in your car, the one big drawback is that if you do get in an accident, traffic stop, etc....they can not only seize the gear, but also YOUR CAR.....unless you happen to get pulled over by a cop on juice (the numbers are steadily rising)....in which case you can exchange sources and be on your merry way.

My opinion is that if you can't tell your wife then you married the wrong woman. Gear is a big part of ALOT of bro's lives and it shouldn't be hidden from the person you're supposed to be closest to.
