Steroids don't cause baldness they just exacerbate it right?

I think that is correct. You have to have some potential to go bald in the first place. I have done several cycles and my girl swears that my hair is thicker.

Hi Wannabebig: Sorry, but androgens pretty much can cause hair loss with susceptibility being due to the genes you inherited from mom and pop. Testosterone & its synthetic analogs are converted to dihyrotestosterone by the enzyme 5-alpha reductase which causes a reduction in protein synthesis by inhibiting adenyl cyclase in the hair bulb; the result is shorter and finer hair. As the hair growth cycle proceeds, the hairs continue to become smaller and finer and eventually fall out. Your genetics determine susceptibility-if you're not losing your hair by age 40 (or after 2-3 cycles) you're follicles are pretty resistant and you can be pretty safe your going to keep your mane.
How about at the age of 32 and after 1 cycle? Almost there?

Hair loss is directly tied to genetics which determines susceptibility to androgenic stimulation and age.
Here's a guide for a male NOT on AAS: If he is really prone to MPH, by age 30 he will be thinned out with a receding hairline and big bald spot on the back of his head; if only mildly so he will be thinning, with a receding hairline, and minus the bald spot.
At age 40, if really prone to MPH, he has a ring of hair around his ears; if only mildly so he has a receding hairline and a small bald spot on the back of his head.

Each AAS cycle may be seen to accelerate this process. (You've heard each cigarette takes 10 minutes off your life?) Well, each cycle takes about 1-2 years off the normal life of your hair. So, if you're 32, have done one cycle, if not prone, you likely have the hair of a 34 year old; if you're mildly prone, it is likely you have the hair of 36 year old; if really prone, a 38 year old...and so on. Process can be slowed down but not stopped. Use finasteride for test and other AAS that convert to DHT. Use Nizoral, minoxidil for others. Avoid strongly androgenic compounds like Anadrol, halo. Winny is especially bad bc it itself is a DHT analogue and directly stimulates hair loss. I hope this is helpful and I didn't make it too confusing.

I did eq twice before with no shedding. I have been under a lot of stress lately with irratic sleep patterns, but just started my 3rd cycle. I am using eq 800 weekly and my hair on top has thinned out nearly in half. I never shedded with eq before and wondering will it grow back after the cycle. I also just started using finastride 1.5 a day and nizoral every other day. I didn't think I could shed on eq, but does the hair grow back after such a dramatic shed?

I've heard people getting their hair back. Me, I shed quite a bit after I dropped finasteride. But being off for over a month, it's starting to get back to normal thickness. Still a bit thinner than before. We will see.

You can have a Tellogen Effluvium -- a mass shedding of hairs due to them being forced into the tellogen (death) phase at once. It can be causes by hormonal changes, vitamin overdoses, stress, etc. etc.

If it's pure TE, your hair will grow back. If it's accelerated MPB, it probably won't. I had a massive TE last time, but 2 months later my hair is growing-back like crazy.

What I'm wondering is if there is a special drug that doctors give patients that undergo chemotherapy for hair regrowth. We all know, especially I know (I have cancer before, and lost all my hair), that you lose all your hair while on chemotherapy. I'm wondering if they gave me a drug to grow it back? If they did, what was the drug?

Look at Jay Cutler the lucky fucker. He's taken more juice than the whole lot of us put together and still gets to use shampoo!!!
