Steroids and age

Hey all,
I have lurked the site for a while but never really posted, just absorbing as much info as possible. I have come to a point where i am seriously considering the use of aas. I am 21, about to turn 22 in a couple weeks. I have been lifting seriously for the last 5 years and in the last couple years, i have really been trying to focus on my diet. Im 5'5" 178lbs at 8.5%(electronic caliper gun thingy that the trainers use at the gym). I peaked out at 189lbs at 13% and was pretty damn strong, but have been cuttin up the last few months.
Anyhow, im just looking for the opinions of the gurus and experts on this site on how old you should be before taking aas. I havnt grown any in at least 2 years. I know everyone says 21, but i want to be very safe going about this.

the safe age is >25--unless you know your growth plates have fused already. I grew almost two inces when i was 22-23--not kidding. My bro-in-law grew about a little over an inch at 22.

i would not trade those two inches for all the size in the world

24 -25 is a good age. If you are still making gains, why waste the money (or legal bullshit)?

I waited to juice until I was 36.
I didn't start training until I was 26. If I had to do it over I prolly would have started my first cycle at 30.

haha, I completely agree with you eddy. I would kill for another inch or two. Thanks for the responses. As for my diet, i think i have it pretty dialed in right now.

Breakfast 9:00- 1 cup Ezekiel cereal (76g carbs), 1 banana, 6 whole eggs

Workout 11:00-12:30- Post workout- TrueMass

1:30- 1 chicken breast 6-8oz, 3-4 red potatoes

3:30- same as previous

6:30- roast beef or turkey on two slices of ezekiel bread

9:00- 8 egg whites with cup of broccolli and two slices of ezekiel bread

This is the one high carb day for me during the week which is almost always on a monday. For the following 3 days, I completly cut the carbs after my post workout shake. Then depending how i feel on day 3 of the low carb days, I will manipulate the diet for the next couple days and maybe add in another carb meal after the post workout shake if im feeling sluggish or weak in the gym.

I would wait if I were you. My father went from 5'8 to 6'3 when he was like 22, over a period of about a year. Height would be more important to me than muscle growth right now.

it is the thing most bros really do not think about unti you ask around--and all of a sudden you hear so many stories about bros (or dads) with growth spurts in their 20s.

the only reason i really noticedd was my parents bought me an "interview" suit when i graduated from college and a year later pants were like high-waters and it looked as if someone altered the suit to mess with me----

it shows the risk of early use is not hype--i guess if you are already 6'4" it may not matter, but for the rest of us...

You should be able to go natty and make solid gains until 25-30.

I waited until I was in my mid 40's !!!

Nobody else is going to wait THAT long.

25 is a good baseline IMO. Push it to the max naturally...then go on gear.

i started dbol at 16 .... (don't flame me please) now im 19 and on test /dbol/tren

Your post should be followed by "I dont condone steroid usage to anyone my age and I started at way too young of an age."

I'm not flaming you, but every 16-19yr old that sees your post is gonna wanna juice even more. Help us set and example man.

you are right . i did start too young . and i absolutely do not encourage others my age to start . its a personal decision i made and a very serious one at that. i will say that i researched my ass off and i run reasonable cycles with proper pct's with hcg and anti-e's as well. :)

There we go my man :).

I would up my protein if I was you because when I was your age I had the same problem and had to really up it. I waited til I was 25 to do my first cycle.

So there is hope for me! I was pretty much convinced that I was done growing. Hopefully I have another inch to go. Thanks for all the replies. You guys pretty much reinforced what I thought. Im going to keep it natty for the next few years and really get my diet dialed in.

i would add more protein at breakfast
have a protein shake before training
have 2 or 3 chicken breasts instead of 1
drop the bread at 9pm meal

Hey thanks alot brotha, greatly appreciated.
Yea Im going to try and up the protein a bit. Getting that diet totally locked in is tuff for me, but over the last year, ive slowly come to realize how much more important diet really is. I hit the point where no matter how hard i trained and how much I changed the workout regime, results were limited, until I really started tweakin the structure of my diet and consistantly sticking to it.
