Steriod Question.........????

SurfinDaily

How many of you are actually on steriods? Im a skinny dude, but im tryin to do it the natural way, but im noticing that alot of the things you guys talk about has to do with steriods...I dont have anything against them at all, and i was just wonderin that if my efforts of eating almost 5000 calories a day, and following my workout to a dime, and gettin enough rest, and drinkin enough water, and takin the right supplements are in vain? Or will i just gain slower and still get there eventually??

Like myself, the majority of the training board are clean, but there are still plenty here who have used steroids. Heck, that's what half Elite is all about.

I think the majority of the people here because they are trying their utmost to get everything they can out of their training.

Your efforts are not in vain. Stick with us and your results will be multiplying faster than you first thought possible. This board is where its at.

Depends what you're going for. I'll never compete or try to break records (other than my own) or anything so I 'personally' think I wouldn't need it.

SD, the question almost sounds staged, because if you actually spent alot of time in this forum, you'd know that that subject doesn't really come up alot here. Perhaps you meant Elite in general.

Whether or not you can meet your goals naturally depends on your goals. What are they, exactly?

:)

As it was said, gear is almost never discussed here.

If you're doing all you say you are, then you don't need juice at all. If you keep up what you're doing religiously, you'll probably surpass the level of many people that aren't natural.

I am one of the ones on steroids. But that being said, my first cycle was 2 years ago, and I had 10 years of serious natural training before I went near them. So I actually have more experience training natural than "on".

Training natural is a must, even if someday you plan on using gear. Its really important to build that base, but more importantly, to have your training and nutrition nailed. Steroids are an aid, if your training and nutrition are not bang on, then you will get very little from them. The years I spent doing it naturally, I made incredible changes in my physique, transforming it from a scrawny little thing, to a muscular physique where it was obvious to anyone that I spent a lot of time in the gym.

The years I spent being natural were definitely to my benefit as after one cycle, I had a physique that was ready for competition. This is not common though, as my gym (and elite) is full of guys that have done 5x as many cycles, and they barely look like they work out.

So stick to it naturally, and see how far you can take your physique. If you are dedicated, you might really be surprised

What cracks me up is when dudes say:

"I have been training 2 years"

"I need to pick up some chicks"

"I am 5' 10" tall and 170lbs. . . I am starting a cycle"

Like NS said, it is important to build a base. I think there are a lot of people who are impatient and are looking anyway to get bigger and stronger.

Using AS is not magic like all people think. You still can overtrain and fail to fuel the body with adequate nutrition and receive plenty of rest.

Like NS said, there are guys who use AS and don't even look like they train. This is because their diets are shit, they are partying and drinking, using other illicit drugs, and just living a plain haphazard lifestyle.

I have nothing against people who use AS, but I do have something against people who are uneducated and live a haphazard lifestyle when it comes to AS usage.

Great post, NS. :)

Thanks spatts...I just think its really important for people to understand where steroids fit in. To me, they are not a quick fix or an easy way out. I think they shouldnt even be considered until you have gone as far as you can naturally, and if that is not where you hoped to be, then they can be considered (once you have educated yourself on them). Myself, I hit my natural limit at about year 7 of my training, and kept trying for another 3 years before I made the decision to try gear

Yeah i did mean the Elite site in General, mybad. But for my personal Goals i dont think steroids are an option, because im not lookin to get big to compete or to get huge, i just want to go from where i started (145 lbs) to around 195-210 in a few years or so and have a decent looking body that i can show off when i go to the beach, or wherever. I have been liftin all year, but i was over training myself bad, so i took a month off, talked to some trainers, and did my reading, came up with a diet and exercise plan, and started it a little over 3 months ago. I weighed 150 and now i weigh 170 and my body fat only went up slightly, so im seein my gains, but i was just worried that i might peak out without steroids.............thanks for the info..........

your goals are more then attainable bro...i graduated highschool weighing 138 pounds, at 5'11...less then two years later, i was 190 pounds and pretty low bf...round 9-10, so its not like i just ate like a pig...i then resulted to do a cycle which brought me to about 205...i think this may have been premature, as i am able to now see that i could have kept making gains if i would have been truly dedicated...maybe in years to come i will resort to another cycle...but for a while, i will enjoy my gains naturally

If you have some general goal of "I want to look good" or " I want a body to pick up chicks" then, frankly, I doubt juice would be the best option, and certainly not an option unless you have been training hard and smart for at least 5 years or more.

I was over 200 lbs and had seen 3+ plates on the bench and 4+ plates on the squat for some time before I ever saw a vial of Sostenon.

My situation was similar to needsize, except that I am not a bodybuilder. I trained for 10 years before any chemical aid came along.

Unless you are hitting it hard, eating 6 times a day, and training is first and foremost, and have been that way for a minimum of 5 years. . . or you are a gifted athlete that is competing, then I don't think it is a good idea.

If you are an athlete, especially in a sport that has potential to make money, then ignore most of what I just said. Can't compete clean in the NFL, unless you are a kicker or maybe quarterback, and even then it would be foolish.

i think since im 6'5" and have a large frame, i could go a long way naturally, i doubt ill ever use roids.
