Staying in shape while off your feet

I was wondering if there is anything I can do to keep in shape while off my feet. I recently joined the US Army and leave for Basic Training in Feb. Well I hurt my ankle of all things while running and have to be off of it for 6 weeks. Is there anything I can do for a cardio workout? I can't run or swim. Also can using crutches to walk around build arm muscle? Oh and I wanted to know if there is a good way to get your biceps and triceps cut. All I have is a benchpress and a dumbell at home. I suppose I could make it to the gym on crutches... a little embarrising though. Any help is greatly appreciated.
