Staying Awake!!

New member
Does anybody know of any good non-caffeinated, non-diuretic methods of staying awake? I've got the yawns big time, but there's no way I'm going to drink coffee and piss out all my water. Thanks.:)

shit....I would love to know:o

Drink more water.
Stick yourself with a needle.
Run outside naked.
Watch SSME and FRO make out.

you could try....

the triple C diet (crank, coke, and crack)...works for havoc mom...she is still a top shelf street walker in the houston area...

Eat an apple, and I am serious! There is a chemical in apples that is better at keeping you awake than a cup of coffee. I wish I could find the link to this for you.

Just drank three glasses of ice water- it helped a lot. I'll tell you how the needle thing works in a couple weeks.:D

3 grams of tyrosine with 3 grams of ginko biloba should keep you wide awake and more clear headed without the side effects of caffeine.

sleep for 9-10 minute stints every hour or something

if you keep the sleep time under 10 minutes you'll feel better as you cant produce your drowsy hormone :)

if you leave it longer you'll go into REM and shit :) worked well for me in revision for exams in the past

else

water, lots of it.

This I may try. Thanks.

Danielson: I took a 25 minute nap at lunch. Feel wide awake now. I find that my cutoff point is about 45 minutes. Much longer than that and I'm screwed for the day.

cool, napping works wonders

I love it. If I can get a small nap at lunch, I usually catch my second wind in the afternoon. I don't think I function very well in early morning no matter how much sleep I get.
