Static-X new album Shadow Zone

Well...to my HUGE surprise, I was looking around on IRC and saw they had the new album out. W0o0o0o00o0o0o0o0o

New ass kicking songs for me to listen to.

These are one of my favorite bands....

O well the excitment only lasted for so long.

Out of 13 tracks, there was 2 songs that grabbed me at first listen through, unlike just about every song on Wisconsin Death Trip and about two thirds from Machine.


Kill your Idols, All in Wait...Those are seriously about the only GOOD songs on the album.

They went a new direction. It's more melodic, as opposed to kick you in your face dark industrial techno.

Fuck me.

Please can anyone tell me some bands who are along the lines of Static X that I might like.

Other then that, Im not sure what to tell you.

I've partied w/ hed pe before they're coool guys. Dunno what happened to them once they stopped touring with slipknot... this genre of industrial metal / rap crap is not my genre at all...
