What time of year do squirrels mate?

And what do their mating calls sound like?

I was wondering because there's a squirrel on my windowsill that's yelpling like a puppy, and won't stop or go away, even when I rap on the window.

i thought they made clicking sounds or some thing like that....i dont think they yelp like puppies! they usually mate in the begginning of winter i believe

I have a squirrel that lives in the tree in front of my house, I call him Chester. He loves to eat chocolate covered raisens right out of my hand.

I have a squriell that comes to my window every year and I talk to him in squirrel of course

Hmmm, I don't know anything about squirrels and mating, BUT, I do know that they don't care for Mr. Maxx too much.

We have a ton of the red fox squirrels around here. Bastards go through around a bushel of corn a month.
