Squats and Deads in same week when doing 5x5?

Is it alright to do both these exercises in the same week on different days(squats on leg day, deads on back day) each week? Or should you alternate doing squats on leg day one week, and then the next week do deads on back day? What do you guys do? I "love" to do both but i want to have max energy for each exercise.

I do both in the same week, generally squat fri and deadlift monday

I do deadlifts Monday, Squat Wednesday, both 5x5.

Might not be good since my back is still a little tired on squat day...but I'm gaining.

Deads Monday, Hack Squats Friday. I believe it's the Hacks that are making my left knee sore and stiff, but it I thought it was regular squats that were giving me a similar problem with my right knee. Obviously I have a form problem (or a footwear problem? Using Chucks for both)

Deads (5x5) Tuesday, Squats (5x5) and Stiff Leg Deads on Friday. so far i don't feel one affecting the other, and i don't think it ever will for me, but i'm still pretty light on my regular deads. gotta work up on them slow and steady myself. i've had low back problems before, don't want them coming back again, but so far i feel fine.

I've always noticed the same thing. WHen doing them on the same day, you might loss a rep on the second one, on your best set (meaning you might only get 4 reps with a weight you would get 5 on fresh), but this is nothing to get overly concerned about. If you start doing them on the same day, your body will adapt to it, even if it seems overtaxing at first.

i hear ya on that one BBF. i had a leg day last week where i just didn't feel done afterwards, so i did a few sets of deads. by the 3rd set of 5 i had to call it quits. i was so worn out at that point i couldn't of done more anyway. so far i like having them on separate days. not too much but not too little in this 5x5 routine.
