if you don't squat deep enough orif you squat too deep they are bad for your knees?

squat ass to the grass if you want to build size on your legs, that parallel crap is exactly that, crap.

any guy with big legs goes ass to the grass bro...
 
I'm with the guys who emphasize warming up properly...

I usually do a set or two with next to no weight - just to get those joints greased up and ready for the the heavy poundage and punishment to follow!!

You'll know you're warming up properly when the warm-up sets start to feel like working sets!! If that makes sense...
