Man I love this forum, so much positive energy, so many strong mofo's showing how it should be done. I swear since I started reading I've never been so psyched for my wo's (I train alone most of the time unless it's chest day then I can always find someone to workout with  )

anyway I warmed up with 135,225,315 for 5 then 405 for 2 and jumped right into it

455 for one I know I'm good for 465 as well which is awesome, I'm going to nail 5 plates by the end of the year I can smell it. I noticed from the pic I lean forward a lot on the power squat, does that look excessive?

I tried 495 but couldnt get it thru the sticking point.

Then 405 for 6

I finished with 3 x 3 bottom pause squats with 315, high-bar, ass to floor. Fookin horrible but I love the way they make my legs feel.

Tried to setup a farmers walk but it was dark and I didnt want to risk slipping on the wet grass so I did a set of 8 with 500 on my trapbar.

Thanks for reading :)

Looks good from here... but don't look at the floor- look straight ahead...

damn dude! that is a very impressive squat

what exercises do you do that you felt helped bring your squat to the level it is at now?

thanks fellas! I dont normally like posting workouts but I had to pimp this one because I've been gunning for 455 for a couple of months now. My last max was 435 so thats a major jump.

longarms - thanks dude I'm sure I'll outstay my welcome eventually but this is the best training board I've found, no egos and no real negativity. Its great :)

Hammer - I actually hit the supports on the way down so I think I went an inch below parallel (which is fine by me) :)

becoming - yup, I'll do that next time. I ALWAYS forget to keep my head up when I squat and I think it's costing me some serious leverage out the hole.

t3c thank bro! The fork-to-mouth lift no doubt :)

the only leg exercise I've really done since I got back into lifting is the squat & some front squatting every month or 2. hopefully adding box squats and some ham/calf work is going to keep me going towards 500.

oh just a few things that might help from what you've said
keep your head up and chest up on the squat and i think this may help with your leaning foward issue..but from the pic it looks like that isn't the issue. keep workin hard brotha and 500 is yours!!! tb
