Well, I can finally do squats now after a long battle with patella tendonitis. I tried the 1x20 breathing squats yesterday and I wasn't really pleased. My form completely died at around rep 17 and I today I have lower back pain. I wanna find the best way to make my stick legs as strong/big as possible within the 1 month period before basketball. Should I do try this idea that Louden Swain suggested in a previous thread???

I know this sounds crazy, but you could perform a 8 x 5 routine to shock the leg muscles into growth.
Example:
1 x 5 - 135lbs (warm up)
1 x 5 - 155lbs (warm up)
1 x 5 - 185lbs
1 x 5 - 205lbs
1 x 5 - 225lbs
1 x 5 - 255lbs
1 x 5 - 275llbs
1 x 5 - 295lbs
Note** these weights serve as an example.
