Damn this is terrible.

Pure genius and brilliance that the world is now without :(

His three books are some of the greatest shit ever written, and I always looked forwared to him releasing a new one.

Really sad to know that's never going to happen again

if he could speak to us now, he would tell us that religion is

bullshit and that there is nothing after this life :)

DAMMIT!!!

I had the chance to see him in January but totally forgot to get tickets and by the time I remembered, they were sold out.

It was one of those life long goals to see such brilliance on stage

RIP George. We'll definitely miss ya man

Huh? Are you thinking of the right guy? He was only crude when it was funny...lol. I think my favorite bit he ever did was the 7 words that you can't say on television bit.

He probably is my number 1 favorite comedian. I can't think of anyone I like more than him.

In my opinion, he is high brow comedy at its best.

I'll miss him! He was humorous and spoke the truth and wasn't all politically correct like many comedians.

I'm not saying the asshole wasn't funny - most assholes are from time to time; I'm saying he wasn't anywhere near genius, nor even cutting edge in his own insignificant field.
 
I thought that *god* bit was genius in the most rapier sense of the word.

To debate what is funny/unfunny - what is slapstick humor/humor that challenges the mind, as in plays on words or poking fun at ourselves is sorta silly in and of itself.

The fact that he was so wildly popular for HOW MANY YEARS is a testament to the man's ability to do his job (an important one and one that is difficult IMHO) exceptionally well. <---The fact that some or even many may agree to disagree does not diminish this.
