Sperm Storage???

Seconds

New member
What is the thinking on saving sperm b/f beginning TRT/AAS? Is it a common precaution? I am 38 and single. Don't know whether I will ever want to have children in the future, but it seems like I should take every precaution to ensure that fatherhood remains an option for me. Thanks.

Ah, a subject I now all to much about.

Have you had a sperm analysis done? If your count is normal and you follow proper PCT you are unlikely to wipe out your sperm permanently. I'm 42 and my wife and I are going throught the Invitro process to have a baby. My sperm count before my last cycle was low (~ 1 million) immediately after my cycle my count was a big fat 0. After about a month and a half my count returned to what is was previously. I did have sperm cryopreserved though.

I haven't had my swimmers checked. Guessing that is something I should do huh? Looks as though you took the precaution anyway. I'll probably do the same just to be safe. How is that done? What does it cost? Who stores them? Do you pay storage by the month or what? Thanks, brotha.

Freezing of a sperm sample is usually done as part of the IVF process as a precaution. There are many IVF clinics and hospitals that will do this. In our case, my insurance pays for this. I'm not sure what it costs if you don't have insurance. We don't pay monthly. Giving the sample is the fun part. they put you in a room with a TV, dirty movies, mags, ect. :D

LOL....nice!

If doubt thats necessary but if you feel more secure about have some stored I see no problems with that.
