Hey guys, so I have this problem. Due to being laid off, I haven't been able to go to the doctor. Anyway, when I wake up in the morning I am fine. However, as the day goes on, my left buttock and leg really start killing me. When I sit it feels like a knot in my left butt cheek. Stabbing pains in back of thigh. It hurts more to lie on my left side than my right. The worst pain is walking, like when I'm grocery shopping. Immense pain going from left buttock down to my calf, lately it's been getting so bad I start to limp after 5 or so minutes of walking. I can alleviate the pain by squatting down, but by the time I get home I have to lie on the floor for an hour or so.
In 2001 I had a disctectomy for a herniated disc at L4-5, but the pain was different then, so I'm not sure if it's something else.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
