Soreness After First Injection

Started my first cycle on Monday. Injected 250mg of Enanthate in my left glute and 200 mg of Equipose in my right glute.

My left glute is incredibly sore to the point that it is affecting my workouts and everyday life. Trouble walking straight, hurts to sit on it, etc.

I know this is common. There is no discoloring or bruising. I've been sitting on this stuff for a while (almost 4 years), wondering if that could make some sort of difference. I've read that most stuff has a shelf life of 5 years so I think I'm safe.

Anything I can do to reduce the pain and should I expect to be this sore after every shot?

Also, I'm scheduled to inject again tomorrow but if I am this sore and in this much pain is that a good idea? Or should I just suck it up and do it?
 
you could change injection sites quads, delts or any other approved IM injection site . also try heating your gear before you shoot.
 
i'm assuming you did 1ml of each

could be the brand and content of BA

rotate spots, try your delts, heat up the gear before injecting and work out that muscle group immediately after shooting

i was using a brand of test E that was oddly painful (it was pharm grade)

switched brands and now all is gravy

Start getting used to injecting different spots bro. Yes it is normal. Over time you will get used to it and the pain will be less with every shot.

You will have people saying its the type of gear so try my guys gear. The fact is you will come across many types of gear in your life as a juicer. You will have painful gear,smooth gear,felt like you got shot gear, and every thing in between. Learn to deal with the pain, and how to tell the difference between
pain and infection. No pain no gain was prob a saying thought up by a juicer.

Bake or boil the gear, rub the inject site for at least 5-10 mins, take a hot ass shower after inject and rub the spot, work out the muscle group that you injected the same day. All ways to help with pain.

Where in the delts should I exactly inject? Not familiar with injecting anywhere else other than the glutes. I'd like to keep it that way if possible.

I have another question. I have 2 ten ml vials of QV Test Enanthate 250. Does that mean that 1 ml = 250 mg or 2.5 cc = 250 mg?

1 cc = 250 mg of the Enanthate, right?

I know, stupid question and I've asked this before on other forums, but just want to double check and make sure I'm getting the right answers.

i prefer higher-up on the inverted triangle -- and you have a total of 5000 mgs--1ml has 250 mgs.

As far as spot injections go, do you spot inject simple for the purpose of rotating areas because other spots are sore or do you believe they actually help that muscle group?

I've heard/read there is no difference in where you inject. Curious about your guys thoughts.

Also, where I injected is becoming a little red. Looking at the pics on the site listed (spotinjections.com), I injected pretty much EXACTLY where the guy does in the glute.

Should I be worried?

Should I be worried? no. if you get a fever or it gets hots w/red line radiating out from it, then worry.


you rotate to avoid scar tissue accumulation and some of us believe in playing with the half lives of certain gear via which site is chosen

Youll be fine. Heat it up with a hairdryer before you shoot next time. Train that muscle group. Switch up inject sites. www.spotinjections.com is a site you can use if you want to see where else you can inject.

Why do you inject 1cc in different spots? Why not just use one spot for both test and EQ? You can mix them you know.....
You can put 2 cc in one shot. Actually EQ can help with the pain by diluting the test a little
 
Ok this embarrassing and I know I'll be flamed for this. I don't know why, but for some reason at the time I thought 1 ml = 100 mg. So basically, I ended up front loading on accident and injecting 2.5 ml of 250 mg/ml of Enanthate and 400 mg of Equipose at 200 mg/ml.

Now I know why my f'n ass hurts so much. I put 650 mg of Enanthate in it.

I even asked around and knew that 1 ml @ 250 mg is what I wanted to do. I had some one else load the pin and I think I got nervous and got caught in the heat of the moment.

Live and learn I guess. Not going to inject till next Monday and I think I may just run 250 mg of Enanthate per week for the rest of the cycle. It will last me much longer (can run it for 15 weeks instead of 10) that way and I don't want to bloat or get too bulky.

How much Equipose do you think I should be running? 200 or 400 mg/week? I'm at about 12% BF and I'm doing cardio 3-4 x / week and dieting clean hard.

Live and learn I guess. Go easy on me.
 
On the areas that get injected with the test, do a deep tissue massage as best as you can with a knuckle for several minutes. That can help quite a bit.

bro, anyone on here who says that did not make a mistake is a liar--is this your first cycle? if so, just do the enth at 250 every 5 days

Yeah this is my first cycle. I bought the gear about 3-4 years ago from a friend when I was 18. I thought about doing it then but read up as much as I could on sites like this and books and figured it'd be best to wait till I was 22 to start doing gear so that I could gain more naturally.

Thanks a lot though, dudes around here seem to be way nicer and more knowledgeable than other bb forums I've frequented.
 
On glutes, already good advice. I use a tennis ball and after inject, I lean on it against a wall or on the floor and roll back and forth on the tennis ball. It massages the hell out of the glute and distributes the gear. Sus hurts me like a mofo but with a tennis ball, it helps quite a bit.

Im sorry but i couldnt help but laugh my ass of at this when i read the part about the 650 in one shot. No wonder my ass hurts lol.......Next time know exactly what your shooting and how many mgs/ml it is bro. Yeah you live you learn that is very true have a good cycle bro. Oh and run the Eq @400mgs for at least 12 weeks and run your test for at least 2 weeks past the Eq. Later bro.
 
Thanks. Yeah I'd be laughing to if this wasn't me. I don't know what I was thinking.. So dumb.

Still really sore. Been doing incline walk this week for cardio but my ass hurts so much I can't even sit down so lifting has been minimal and pretty weak.

How long do you think it'll take for this soreness to go away? It has decreased but it is too uncomfortable to work out on. I just want to work out.
 
you should be better in a week--and props for waiting-which just proves the 650 thing was an aberation--good luck and save the equipoise

My ass feels 75% better than it did when I woke up this morning!!

Still a little sore, but nothing much now, gonna go lift for the first time since Monday

Now I'm going to say something that you might want to listen to and if you dont, at least I tried:).....As young as you are and being that this is first go around don't do a long cycle. It's good for gains but you putting a lot of unecessary stress on your pituitary. Just throwing it out there b/c if you run into trouble not many docs will treat you at this young age or if they do you have a lot of explaining to do how you went through puberty ok, then your pituaitary got fried!
If I were you keep it at max 10 weeks even with the EQ.
I'm not trying to scare you just making you aware of potential problems
 
i just think the eq is a waste for a shorter first cycle--the test alone will make yu want to lift small trucks or big women
