Sore joints

This is not AAS specific; however, all the bros that I know and trust live here. I am having issues with chronically sore joints and it is impacting my workouts. Anyone else deal with this? Have you utilized glucosamine and chrondroiton? Did it work? Where do you recommend getting it from?

Thanks guys

Yes. fish oil and good fats. eat red salmon also. if your cutting back hard on fat this will cause your joints to ache.
almonds

I've had everything from impingement to tendonitis in the knees elbows, shoulders for the past 10 years. I have tried glucosamine, chondroitin, every over the counter herbal anti inflamatory that there is. None of it worked. the only thing that does work for me are NSAIDs which can lead to other problems down the road. I have never hear of one story of anyone i know taking glocosamine and having it help.

I take that back a couple things have worked:

Traumeel ointment - very mild topical anti-inflamatory - I love this stuff - if i get somthing that's sore rub it on and keep going - bad idea i know but that's how i know it works.

capscaisin - I have a love hate relationship with this stuff. It works to aleviate the joint pain but burns like shit on your skin. you cant get it on anything else - which i have gotten it on everyting over the last 8 years of using it (and I mean everythign - including my wife) I had to stop using it in the summers because I have two kids and can't rick getting it on them. why the summers? I have my shirt off all the time.

I currently use celebrex 200mg/day and voltarent gel - that shit's great.

pm me if you ahve any questions about all the crap I've tried so you don't waste your money.

Glucosamine (helps rebuild joints), chondroiten (helps lubricates joints) and MSM (a natural anti inflammatory). You can usually get all 3 in one supplement. It takes about 2 weeks to notice a difference, but the longer you take it the better it works. Get a good brand...don't buy the economy size from WalMart.
Also, Hyaluronic Acid is supposed to be pretty good too along with what the other bros mentioned above (fish oil and lots of water).
Also, see your Chiropractor to make sure everything is lined up. Chiropractors are your bone/joint/muscle doctor. Don't overlook keeping everything lined up for proper function.
Hope this helps

165pwrlifter stated that glucosamine didn't help. I've found that it doesn't help some people and some people love it. The best thing to do is try it for a month and see if you are one of the lucky ones..hope so.

does msm help with joints also? I had glutamine/msm mix a few months back. Not that I need it, but the guy said older gents got it to help with their joints.
