some updated pics after first week of caloric surplus...

i've been hitting about 3500 calories this week, and don't think i've gained much in the way of bodyfat, so i'm going to up the calories to about 3600 this week, and see what happens...

i plan on starting a 5x5 SF in 2 weeks, once i get all the info i need, and figure my PR's for 5 reps over the next week...

Bro you look great, you and I seem to have that same trouble area of the lower abs though.... lol, any suggestions? What are your stats?

well, after doing next to nothing for 18 months after my son was born, and a staple diet of pizza, that shit happens... ;)

it's coming off slowly, but surely...

stats as of this morning... 6'1", 211lbs... not sure of the BF, but guessing around 13.5%...

dude u look awesome, bigger and harder than most on here using gear. Vtaper is very good even though u r bulking, calves are insane.


People take notice of how hard training, eating right and not rushing things will get you were you want to be. AAS is not the answer dedication in and out of the gym is

DZL if you did a MILD cycle you would be a monster AWESOME JOB!

i'm looking to really up the ante with this 5x5 i'll be starting in a week... my goals for the 12 week run will be to add 15 pounds, with not alot of bodyfat, and then do a 6-8 week cutter starting at the beginning of June...

218-220lbs at about 11% by end of July is what i am shooting for...

Also, do you do deads? Your lower back is lagging, but not bad.
 
once i'm finished with the Nitro I have, i will no longer buy it... i am going to swtich to the Optimum Nutrition Whey, as i've heard alot of good about it, and it's half the price of NT...

i just started doing deads about 2 months ago... i was able to get 315 for 2 yesterday... my grip is getting better, but i am going to go out and get some chalk to help me with it some more...

right now, i weigh about 209-211...
 
gonna be blunt here: looks like you are holding in your stomach some. in your back pics the fat around your waist is keeping you having a great physique vs. a good one.

that last bit of fat may be hard to lose...but sounds like you have a good metabolism. maybe when you cut calories it will come off. your best feature is your upper back. looking terrific DZ.

one more thing...you may look better with some hair then a shaved head. some guys can pull that off better than others.
 
i have my abs flexed for the pics, no doubt... my BF is not low enough where my abs shine through relaxed...

the fat around my waist is going to be the last shit to come off... that's the first place i pack it on... :(

i've been shaving the head since '93... and i'll never turn back now... i can't stand it as soon as it gets to be more than 1/2" long...

keep the feedback coming guys... i have no qualms with honest critiques...

besides pics are the best way of showing me what's going on...

Those second pics that you posted from tonight look like your abs are thinning out some. Now it may be the angle of your body, but it is looking better. Your back is looking nice and wide and you have some really good size on your legs.

P.S. Why do you take all your pictures in a creepy old basement? ;-) Also, in your first photo posted at the top of this thread, it looks like you have a nail coming out of the top of your head. ;-P
 
hahahaha... i just noticed that... it's actually some writing on the back of the cabinet...

take the pics in the basement, so i can hide from the little one, who just tries to yank on the camera every time he sees it...

i might try and change the location of the pics here before i start my 5x5, but i want to keep them all in the same location, cause comparison shots are easier to see when all the variables are the same...

Yeah I used ON Whey for a while. Then I went to proteinfactory. Will never go anywhere else. I just started deads again two months ago too. Good luck.

Some great pics! Your abs are looking improved, and good arm size as well. What are you benching atm?
 
my bench sucks, but am working to remedy that...

todays 5x5 workout had me finish it off with a set of 210... got them pretty handily... my max for 5 reps sadly was only 220...

i think i had some mechanical errors though, that i am working on correcting...
 
i'm feeling like a fat ass all of a sudden the last couple of days... :(

so i took some pics tonight to see what was going on...

i don't know how long i'll be able to continue this bulking diet, cause i hate feeling like e bloated hog... :(

Dont worry about it bro if u want cut your carbs a bit but stay with your cals all it is water, it will go away with one carb cycle

you basically cycle carbs u go low carb for a period of time then carb load with veggies and good carbs. The low carb shuttles water out but you are flat and have no energy then you load with potatoes and veggies and your body absorbs them and fills out your muscles. i did it for my pics in Mexico and worked well for about a day then I spilled over a bit and had to cut back

needles to say it is a art
 
i'm going to need to learn more about this over the next 11 weeks, as i will start a cutter at that time...

until then, it's on with the mass... ;)
 
all natty, and will continue to be so...

i make gains with out the stuff, so why hinder my progress, is the way i look at it...
