Some thoughts on anti-war opinions.

Youn Army man Says time to do whats right...Getting rid of the nusiances(sp?) that continue to cause us problems

Your kids aren't going to be drafted so everyone who fears that should breath easier

Besides the fact that Iraq poses zero threat to the US, war against Iraq will cause a chain-reaction of events that will leave the US in shambles.

The attack will cause more disdain for the US (from all over the world) and therefore more attacks on US soil.

That will lead to a police state where freedoms will be a thing of the past.

You people with no foresight do not realize that one more attack will allow police to come into your home, your car and your life without any evidence. That is something that will be done in the name of fighting terrorism.

Do you think that you Internet discussions about gear, bud and other illegal substances will be allowed (without repercussion) in a post-Iraq America. No way, all email and Internet activity will be logged and watched and you will get a knock on the door whenever you do something that is "suspicious."

It is more than not wanting war. It is about preserving freedoms that Americans were once known for.

I agree completely. The power for them to do this is already established into law.
The USA is looking a whole lot like the way it did in the 70's under Nixon, when the CIA and FBI were compiling secret dossiers on American citizens.

They have no real idea of what's going on. Do your coke....

Unlike EF where everyone knows the 'real deal' down the last detail.
And of course, if they oppose the war then the only explanation must be that they are dumb.

Really? And you know this how? I'll bet that 18 months ago, you would have been pounding the table saying that Osama Bin Laden is no threat to the United States, right? And you're so sure that Saddam Hussein had absolutely no connection to the 9/11 attacks, right?

My father and my son's mother had to flee buildings on 9/11 to prevent being killed. Three other people I knew weren't so fortunate. I'll give up a freedom or two and stand in line a little bit longer at airports to make sure my family is safe.

To the guy who mentioned the draft, point taken. It's an uneasy feeling, but I don't think you have to worry about a draft at this point. Wars are fought differently than they were when the draft was active.

You mental midget. How is a country that cannot even feed its people, has 66% of its territory occupied, has 2 large majority groups that are against the ruling Suni minority class going to develop anything that even gets close to Europe (let alone the US)?

There are military bases that surround Iraq from all angles including Kuwait, Saudi, Afghanistan, Jordan and Pakistan.

The only country that is even close to being in danger is Israel (and IDF could beat the Iraqis, too).

Also, since you are too dumb to realize that Iraqis HATE fundamentalists more than they hate the US, they would not work together.

What, you think you know everything because you're a fucking Elite Moderator? Who gives a shit? That means that you have time to waste moderating a chat board. Good for you.

Your case is so scary solid that you have to resort to calling me names? I didn't call you any names or flame you in any way in my original post. Now I will you fucking piece of shit asswipe.

Bin Laden didn't even have a fucking country and 3000 people are dead in my country. I don't know where the fuck you come from. I'm sure Saddam's money couldn't finance any type of hostile activities on US soil though. That makes no sense. Couldn't possibly happen.

Liberal douchebag.
